    I have purchased two of these stands now and am quite happy with the purchase. The magnetic connection to the Echo device is quite strong and the device will not detach easily. I would recommend to anyone who purchases the Echo Show 8.

    Stylish little stand with a strong magnet. No adjustment screws or knobs. Just set it and stays. Bought it to keep the Echo Show camera more level and straight at eye level since I have it placed on a wire rack in my kitchen.

    While this stand is well built, the ball joint design is not ideal for regularly swiveling an Echo to face different directions - such as on a kitchen island. First, the ball joint is very tight and difficult to reposition. Also, because the ball joint moves in all directions, it is difficult to swivel the Echo without changing the horizontal level or vertical tilt. Otherwise, it is not a bad choice if you are simply looking to position your Echo in a specific position and leave it there.
