I was concerened about the same thing, was it going to be good enough. I can tell you I'm running it to a sixty inch TV and it works perfect. Resolution doesnt seem to be an issue at all. I would purchase it again. Arrived quick too.

You CANNOT with this device. There is zero upscaling with this device. It's false advertising. There is no button to push to give u anything more than what the native resolution for the wii uses. I would not recommend this device to anyone.

If the receiver has an HDMI input for components then it should be fine. I have mine plugged in directly to my TV.

Mine is working fine on standard wii. I bet it will work on mini. If not just return it.

it works as expected as soon as it was plugged in. i did not have to read any manuals which is a plus since it seems like no one writes correct English these days. the only draw back is the size and how much it sticks out from the wii console. i have had it for 2-3 weeks and so far it has worked flawlessly.

After setting this up, I thought the picture quality was so bland; we'd just skip using this adapter. Then I checked the color settings on the TV itself. Our TV holds color settings per input. Since we hadn't used this hdmi port before, the color settings were set to default (very 'flat') After adding color, contrast, and brightness; the Wii really did look excellent. I'd recommend this product.
