I love this little thing, with TONS of sound for the price and size. My 12 year old daughter got one for Christmas, after I saw and heard what hers could do, I ordered 4 more, in different colors for each person in the house. The great thing about these little things are you can plug them in to a wall for power or charge them and carry them around. I also purchased memory cards for each. Loaded music, radio mystery stories and books on them. So NOW, when I am working in the yard I can listen and as I move on to the side of the house which has no elec, no problem. My husband uses his in the garage working on the cars, the kids will use them as mp3 players in their pockets, but when they get around their friends, they just pulled their earphones out and everyone can listen. Then their friends are shocked at the level of sound. The lights are pretty nice also. A lot of BANG for under $15 dollars. Depending on the color you purchase, dictates the price. I have the green, silver, black, red and pink. I have been contacted a number of times on how to attach the waistlet. So I have added pictures on how to add the waistlet, I hope this helps? IF not, contact me and I will see what I can do.

I love this little guy! I would give it a 5 star except for 1) blinking light will not go off, even when I hold the menu button down. 2)The battery time suffers; I get about 2hrs continuous. 3) radio hard to set on station 4) the clock is 24hr time, wife cannot figure it out. The pluses are many. 1) sturdy and well made 2) speaker is incredible 3) very portable 4) charges up in about 30 min. through the USB port, 5) plays mini-SD, flash drive, and MP3 music so easily. I bought this thing to play my music and in this regard I am very satisfied. Would recommend highly. And the price was excellent for what I got. I almost forgot to mention, I can play it and charge it at same time with no audio loss.

The speaker is its best feature. It will truly surprise you. It's loud and clear. I was looking for something to play my mp3 music stored on a USB drive to take on vacation and this worked well. That said, there are a few cons also: - you can't set a specific radio station, it scans and only stops at stations with strong signals - the chargeable battery is non-removable and holds a charge for only a couple of hours but it might help to turn the disco light off - the mp3 player doesn't allow to shuffle your songs or select them other than skipping forward and backward through the song list which plays in the exact order as it was saved. For the money and purpose I think this is a good buy.

I love it . Battery doesn't last long , but you can charge easily. It looks so nice . Sound is clear , you don't need loud for this small device , for louder sound , you should use other stereos . This is good to listen next to your bed , on your table , on your desk , something next to you that only you will hear it , it doesn't bother others around . I love the material , the buttons . For the price , it's worth it , i'm buying lots of them for friends together with my own collection of music in a pen drive or sd card , that makes an unique gift . Yes , it doesn't have shuffle , this is to play music continuously , not knowing what will be next , you can press next buttom many times to play ahead , and start from there . It picks it up where it was left after you turn on/off . I wished it have a shuffle buttom , that would be great ! But for now , it works as it is . The radio is ok , depending on your area , you might need to move the position to get better signal , since i hate radio stations ,i use it for mp3 player basically . I hope this last long , at least 1 year , too bad if stops working soon . Keep going manufacturer , everyone like this cuteness , just make it little better improving little things . The blinking lights are ok because you can turn it off , but it should blink slowly and steady , it blinks awkwardly , fast then slow , then fast again with no clue .

I got this to carry on trips. When I travel on my motorcycle there are often times that a bit of tunes is what you need. Parked under the underpass, or just crashing for a while. So, its small. For purpose of size, you could put 4 quarters in a square, and that's how big it is. A square. I toss it in the saddle bag, and pull it out when on a break or when you just don't want dead air time. I get the same sound out of this as a small boom box, with hours of play time, and the tunes I want. Sound. For what it is it is great! No, you're not using it for a party, but if you are in a room, it can be too loud. The FM is OK, but you need to have the antenna up for it to work. I picked up an 8G micro card, loaded it with a few hundred tunes, and I just click it on, and it starts, and remembers what tune you left off on.

This is a basic player which is very good, due to the fact the instructions that come with it are also basic. Okay, I did have trouble getting the SD unit to work but it was all my fault. My playlists consist of MP4 tunes. Since all my other players recognize and play them it did not dawn on me right off that this unit doesn't. Once I figured it out and converted some of my favorites to MP3 it worked fine. It puts out good sound for a 2 inch or so speaker I was very surprised by that. Now it is not entertainment center quality but it works fine for my back patio. I have not used the radio portion of the unit so can not comment on reception or quality.

Everything works ok and here are some tips for best results. Hold in the MENU button until the light shuts off. Plug your earbuds into the FM/Line in jack to improve the FM reception. Plug in both the micro sd card and mini usb drive at the same to provide two choices for mp3 audio material. The unit also acts as an external speaker. It will not FAST FORWARD or REWIND, only NEXT. The sound is very good for such an inexpensive unit. Tip: Seal it inside a ziploc freezer bag and play it in the shower.

This little device has been a real boon to me. I can't get to sleep without listening to audiobooks but end up running my computer all night. This lets me listen to audiobooks without leaving my computer on. It's easily portable and even smaller than it looks in the picture. I listen to books in the shower now (put this in a ziplock bag and set it on the sink), I listen to books while cooking, and I don't have to leave my computer on at night anymore. The only negative that I have is that the radio isn't the best quality. Pro Tip: Hold down Menu to make the flashing lights go away... not sure why those are even there.

I'd been eyeballing the TT-028s in their various incarnations (TOMTOP, NIZHI, SOLED, etc) for 4 or 5 years before actually purchasing them. The low price and looks intrigued me, but I figured I just didn't need one, given my wide array of portable MP3 players. I was wrong. Even if you never use it as an actual MP3 player, it's the perfect substitute for those AA powered wired portable speakers you can buy in the 10 to 20 buck range. I'd always liked the zip open oblong variety that you could slip most phones inside of. They still serve a purpose, but are usually a bit underpowered. The user interface on the Soled is a little primitive, but perfect for my needs. It displays just the essential info an an LCD screen with a pretty large font, with a momentary backlight. If the LED show on the speaker side of the unit drives you batty (or you just want to squeeze out a bit more speaker life), you can shut it down with a couple second hold on the menu button. A lanyard is included that you can attach, and use to hang the unit from a variety of places. The 4 modes are MP3 player, FM radio, LINE IN, and a time only clock mode....no alarm option. One of the somewhat surprising features is the physical slider ON/OFF switch. I like this for a couple of reasons, but it could be an issue for some. The main drawback is the potential for it to be turned on accidentally while being carried with other items in a bag, pocket (yes, too bulky for most pockets of today), purse, etc. There are obvious physical solutions for this, but some people don't want an added step. A small case or pouch of some sort, or piece of scotch tape to go over the switch in transport, are two basic solutions. A wide rubber band to cover the switch, is another. With the switch OFF, you've got nothing...not even the clock, but it does retain the time in it's memory. I haven't checked to see if it retains the time, even if the rechargeable battery has lost all charge. When you turn the switch ON, the default mode is MP3 player. The great thing about that feature is that it's perfect for podcasts. Being able to pick up where you paused (think of it as a bookmark in a book) is what most people demand when listening to podcasts. If you're listening to a podcast with this player and you pause and power down, just power down in the middle of playback, or if you switch modes, whenever you come back to the MP3 mode (again, it's the default mode when you slide the power switch to ON), it picks up where you left off. The same is true if you're listening to a song. Another surprising thing is the fact you have TWO options to feed this thing music files - an expected micro SD card slot with the spring loaded locking and unlocking feature most are used to from putting them in cellphones and other devices, but also a full sized USB port, which allows you to use any sort of USB flash drive. I haven't tried flash drives larger than 32GB so far. For best portability, the micro SD is the obvious choice, Just remember, it has no internal memory of it's own, which also means you can't transfer files on to it. The FM mode is pretty decent. It's hard to say just how much the tiny retractable antenna helps, but it's certainly better extended than not. Fortunately, you're not forced to use headphones to take advantage of the cord's added reception. The unit can also gain reception from the provided LINE IN 3.5mm/1/8th inch cord. A mini USB charging cable is also provided, and it's great the unit can be used while charging. If you do use headphones (typical low end ear buds included), it is a stereo signal, which many have wondered about, given it's single speaker. It is a strong speaker, and the max volume of 16 (yes, kind of a weird choice for max, 11 would've been amusing for "Spinal Tap" fans) will exceed what you'll need in most situations, especially the radio. I have encountered some music files that were encoded with a low level that required max volume but, in most cases, 16 will be crazy loud, and often breaking up/distorting. Translation - if you're listening to a wide variety of files with varying levels, you'll likely be diving for the volume control from time to time. The player simply looks at the files, and plays them in the order they exist on the source, and numbers them 1, 2, 3, and so on. I believe the TT-029 model, also available on Amazon, has actual track info and even a provision for lyrics. It all boils down to what info was provide when the file was created. The upgraded model is at least 50% costlier....not a major problem with the TT-028 starting in the $8 to $9 range.

I bought this so I could have a radio to use while my family and I went to the drive in movie theater. I wasn't sure what to expect because the price was so low. I decided to give it a try because there were good reviews on here. I used it last night for the first time, and can now say that I agree with the positive reviews! The sound was great and the battery lasted for the entire movie. I would say that if you are using the radio to take a look at some of the reviews/questions and answers. The instructions weren't as helpful in getting the radio up and running quite as good as the reviews were.

We've had this speaker for a month and our 22month old has not been kind to it. It is still working fine though. Holds a good charge and the sound quality is really clear. We use the microSD card loaded with Disney songs and she is able to skip songs as she likes. She does switch it to the radio on accident once in awhile and we have to flip it back. The radio doesn't pick up many stations, even close ones but we don't use it for that so it wasn't a big deal. The lights are a little annoying but she likes them.

Pretty good little MP3 player. I got this because it looked like the most convenient thing for the price and all the MP4 players that I used to want are now discontinued. In any event, I'm not disappointed. This thing can load from MicroSD and USB flash drives with both connected at the same time. That's super handy and allows you to make hardware based playlists. It works with either headphones or standalone as its own speaker. Now to nag on this thing. The FM antenna is apparently useless as it gets almost no stations. The line in is marked as being capable of usage as an antenna plug. I haven't tested it, but if it's true I could surely rig up a functional antenna solution. Problem is, that defeats the purpose of it being mobile, so I have no intention of bothering. Clock mode sucks. It can't play and show the clock at the same time. Why bother? Battery life (with lights off, MicroSD, USB, and headphones) seems to be 4 hours. That's unimpressive but not particularly bad.

I needed something my son could listen to at night but using my spare laptop seemed wasteful and ungainly. This little cube is about as big as a cue ball and has surprisingly good sound! I didn't have a problem loading music on a flash drive and it replays the playlist all night long. I ended up buying a $9 charging block and used a longer cord from one of my old cameras so I could keep it plugged in to the wall all night. The only annoying thing are the flashing lights...they come on when you turn the unit on and off. But they go off easily if you press the "menu" button for a few seconds. I get a surprisingly good FM signal for being so far away from the station tower. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised and don't regret this purchase.

I didn't expect much from this little guy. I just wanted it to play some music while out in the garage. I got two because the reviews had said the cubes die after a couple of hours, but then I discovered you can plug the power cable into an iPhone plug adapter and it works just fine. It did exactly what it said it would do. The instructions were easy enough to understand, with a little practice. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound and the functionality. I bought a micro SD when I bought these, and loaded them up with music, so now I have a choice of whether I want to listen to the radio or the micro SD. For ten bucks and free two day shipping, you can't go wrong.

I'm actually fairly impressed. Notes: The USB port will not charge your phone. You can have a line in and listen through headphones at the same time. The speaker is surprisingly clear and loud. Radio stations can't be selected directly, you can only iterate through the scanned and saved stations. The rapidly cycling RGB LED can be turned off, but you have to do it every time the unit is switched off then on. It's smaller than I imagined, it's a cube, about 2"^3 (5cm ^ 3). Its menu has crashed on me, but a power cycle does the trick and it retains the saved stations. All that being said, I'll probably buy another one for my desk at work. It's a good deal.

It's worth the price, and I found nothing else comparable on the market. However, an important troubleshooting tip: if you want to play must from a MicroSD card, make sure that you DON'T put your MP3s in folders when you copy them to the card. The player will find them the first time it reads the card, but once you turn it off, it will never find them again and will just display "NO--", same as if there were no files on the card. The fix is to place all MP3 files in the root directory, i.e. no folders. This is inconvenient--you may need to rename the files to get them to sort the way you want them to play--but not a deal-breaker at this price point. I successfully used a Samsung 16GB MicroSDHC card with no trouble (formatted with a FAT filesystem), and also a mix of MP3s ripped from CDs as well as purchased directly from Amazon. All work fine.
