Is the in and out regular size Hamilton female connections and does the signal it is handling in a pass through mode

  • Yes, the connection is regular size. Both the male and female ends are regular size. I'm not sure about your question with pass through, I can hook up these on the back of Directv boxes and the signal picture goes to the TV. How do you know if they wnork?

  • No way to know. I don't know if they work or not for protection. But I actually took mine off because it interfered with the signal communication between my TV and other components. Caused my blu ray player to cut off.

If you use one for each HDMI port is there enough room for them to fit side by siide on a receiver.
