I've had this printer a little over a week now and have done several prints. Took an hour to assemble and level. I did like the sensor it included for leveling. You snug it over the extruder nozzle and adjust the bed accordingly. Once a certain amount of pressure is placed on it, it issues a beep telling you to stop. Keep rotating through the corners until they are all level and you are done. After I leveled it, I checked it with my sparkplug gap tool and it was spot on. The first test print of the pair of owls turned out great with no noticeable flaws. I then printed out "The Child" from The Mandalorian and was extremely pleased with that. Both were done in Gray PLA. I then switched over to a black PLA+ and couldn't get it to stick. I tried different bed and extruder temps with no luck. I checked the levelness and was still good. I moved on to a clear PLA and have made several prints with that having no issues. I looked up the brand of PLA+ I was trying to use and saw many people have had issues with it sticking across a multitude of printers so if you have concerns about the printer, try another spool of PLA from a different manufacturer first before returning the printer. Not all manufacturers use the same exact materials in their PLA and even the color can make a difference. Most of the time it's trial and error with the temperatures. I found the the touch interface easy to use and intuitive. If you are looking for a solid printer at a great price point with a large build surface, I would definitely recommend this printer. I have absolutely zero regrets. I cannot speak one way or the other about tech support as at this point, I've had no reason to contact them. I hope you find this useful.

After many hours of research on 3D printers, I finally decided to order this mega s from anycubic. It suits my desires completely. It took me about an hour to assemble as I read the manual completely before starting and kept referring to it all through the assembly process. It’s a very solid machine when complete and I was printing my first project 5 minutes after leveling the build plate. The roll of sample white pla(randomly send) has printed several models with about half the roll still remaining. That’s fantastic for this company. So far I have spent many hours learning the process and find that Cura is quite easy to work with, that’s quite a learning curve for this old (65yrs) guy lol. So far a very pleasurable experience. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.

so this printer is awesome. the rigid frame helps give this printer a great bit of stability. bed leveling is super easy if you follow the instructions. bed is great holds awesome well heated once it cools the print pop right off. this is capable of printing pla, abs, wood, tpu, and petg. the anycubic filiament prints great. good layer adhesion and fantastic finishes. if you are looking for a solid large for at printer this one is fantastic. this will be my new goto printer anything with size. quickly heats up the bed heats nice and evenly. highly reccomend to anyone.

This is a beast. I've had this printer for a week and it's ran non stop since. Assembly was fairly straightforward and required a little intuition to decipher the directions, but all in all, a pretty good experience for my first time with a filament based 3d printer (I have the Anycubic Proton S resin printer also). I've printed objects that took 30 minutes and objects that have taken 16 hours to complete and the quality has been very, very good. The big thing is leveling and keeping that bed level between prints. I usually re-level the bed after two or three runs, just to be on the side of caution. The nozzle/heating element seems to be good quality, I've not had any problems with it or the extruder- There's a small heat resistant plastic piece that keeps sticking to the end of the filament when I change out the reels, but the feeder does a great job and it doesn't take much effort to plug the small plastic guider back into the extruder. I love the machine and even though it lacks wi-fi I'm okay with running the SD card back and forth from computer to printer (I don't have it wired to any PCs at this time). The files read without issue from Cura after slicing, and in between each print for cooling til I can remove them from the patented glass plate (which is incredibly awesome-once the bed completely cools, a few small taps on the corners of the print release it easily from the bed) I usually load up the next file and slice it- It gives me something to do =). All in all, a great printer so far and under constant use. Highly recommend this printer to someone who's looking for BIG print beds with minimal electronic component understanding (the assembly is very minimal). I really hope you consider Anycubic as your choice for a printer- These guys are good. Thanks!

I originally started out with a Creality CR-10 and spent over a year and a half trying to get it to work correctly for me. Eventually I gave up and moved on to prusa which still to this day I feel like it was a great decision. I didn’t want to trust another purchase of amazon and thought the only way to go about 3D printing would be to purchase directly. I heard from some friends later on raving about their anycubic mega X and I decided to give it another go. Anyone in the community familiar with Telli will know that guy loves his Mega X and I trusted his opinion on it. So glad I did. I can trust again! You need to take the time to get it calibrated but when you do you’ll realize it’s worth it. I am getting some of the best prints I’ve ever seen first hand. I can even print full helmets again. The one thing to note is my experience with their support and employees. Honestly, some of the best customer service I have ever received. If you have questions they have answers. They take feedback from the community and implement. I’m happy to own my mega X and if I can convince my wife to get more I will definitely be doing so!

I received my Mega X two weeks ago today. I have been printing a lot and enjoying getting into 3D printing. I printed the test owls the first night and have been downloading items from Thingiverse. The assembly is a snap. I had problems getting the filament to load but after that been printing fine. I started getting fans noise during initial turn on from the power supply fan and contacted Anycubic support. They answered my question within hours which is pretty good when contacting China. They are shipping me a replacement, so far so good.

For Beginners: I would say this is an excellent printer for beginners. The build size for the price is very good, and it does well out of the box. Assembly is also easy compared to other printers or even higher end printers. Setup: very quick and easily. A handful of bolts, and you are done. I was printing within 15 minutes of opening the box Tech Support: I’ve read a lot of things about poor tech support online. I personally have only needed to reach out once, and have only had good experience. I needed a replacement part. It was out of warranty by a couple month, the offered a very decent discount on a new part instead. Print Quality: The quality is very good for the price point. And there are lots of aftermarket mods to help improve it further. But like all printers, one of the biggest impacts on your print is YOU. Learn how to calibrate and tune the printer, learn how to use your slicer and how setting affect print quality. Ask questions in the online communities. It’s ok to fail. Fail just stands for First Attempt In Learning. Noise: It is loud. Noise from the fans and the motors. You can still hear behind a closed doors but it isn’t terrible. And there are modifications you can make so it will run pretty close to silent. Overall: It’s a solid printer. And if you want there is a great community to show you how to upgrade and make it better. You may quickly find yourself wanting to upgrade to a bigger machine, if you want to do larger objects. When I do, I’ll most likely buy another Anycubic.

This is a great printer but you need to accept some easily repairable issues. I'm sure someone has gotten one with zero issues but that wasn't me. Firstly the parts cooling fan rattled. Second the power supply fan is now failing, that started about a week after I got the printer. Anycubic is really fast to respond and supply replacement parts but you are going to have to swap them out yourself. Now the good, this is built like a Ford pickup it's a very solid printer with a full metal frame. The touch screen is very nice and serves the purpose. The build plate is second to none, it adheres your models very well when hot and they nearly fall off when cool. The print quality is nice but will require you to tune using your slicer unlike a standard page printer. The learning curve was steep but after a month I'm quite comfortable. I've run many filament brands and two types PLA & PETG and both print well. I had issues with bed leveling but after I installed Marlin 1.1.9 firmware that became a non issue. I studied long and hard before buying this machine and have no regrets at all and neither will you. I'm sure my next printer will be an Anycubic also.

The Anycubic Pro is a major improvement over the Anycubic Mega-S. It is noticeably quieter, the main supply fan is silent until a print starts and is still very quiet. Printing is very quiet except when doing infill, during which it emits a loud grinding noise. The filament dispenser has an improved design and is much better and easier to load. Oddly, it dispenses filament in 10mm steps and not continuously. The bed heater cable is tied to the bed lift spring which interferes with turning the leveling wheel, just untie it. It is unlikely to cause a problem. The laser attachment is held on to the extruder assembly by magnets and a single set screw. I found it annoying to have to swap out a cable, but probably too expensive to add another cable. The laser worked well with only two adjustments to be made, focus, and intensity. Eye protection is provided. A spare hot end is provided as well an assortment of tools. Overall it is a good printer. But not exceptional.

I have owned many printers over the years and still do. Some have worn out or did not meet expectations. The Anycubic Mega X is NOT one of them! I have owned this printer for nearly 3 months now and I normally choose to wait for a 6 month period before writing any kind of review. But this printer has proven to be rock solid and true work horse in a short amount of time! The assembly is super simple and easy to manage, to be honest, it took longer to remove the gantry, base and parts than it did to put it together. Plug in a few connectors that are color coded along with the power cord and you're ready to go once the bed is leveled. Even that is really quick and simple with the nice large turn knobs.
