I am very surprised how fast this little guy is! The controls look a little daunting, but they are very intuitive and responsive. We tested it in a large pond and went back for three days because it was very interesting. The range is very large, the battery runs much longer than expected (I think about 15-20 minutes), and the speed is impressive. Another great thing is that the ship is almost impossible to flip in the water. You can see it in my video is very windy, but this is not a problem at all. It has a feature that automatically "corrects" itself if it flips, but we really can't flip it, so I haven't tried it yet. I would definitely recommend this product for adults or children.

Watching the Internet video about understanding and using the transmitter is essential and allows me to perfectly set the rudder decoration. The ideal decoration is the rudder slightly trimmed right turn. I was very impressed with the performance and speed of this boat. On my first day on the local lake and under very relaxed conditions, there was quite a lot of rough water. Despite the conditions, the ship flies over the top of the wavelet and is easy to control. When ideally trimmed, the boat will be equally well turned, whether turning left or right, and will turn and tighten well. This boat can turn very steep and fast and keep its beautiful route. Of course you can also do the drift! If you suddenly turn at full speed, the momentum may cause the bow to sink slightly into the water, causing the boat to completely submergence, and then the boat is still rushing to the ground! When I saw this for the first time, I was surprised! After I got out of the boat, as announced, the auto-righting function of moving the throttle stick back and forth stopped the boat - this is a big limitation to prevent having to swim on board. It is also important that the transmitter alert you to the low-ship battery when the boat is parked to prevent the boat from being trapped in the water and the battery is dead. During my first run, I didn't get the cockpit canopy fully in place, and after running the boat, there was half an inch of water in the bilge and there was no damage when running the boat. In the end, this thing shot a gorgeous and realistic cock tail and the sound of running is also very realistic. I recommend 100%.

I have remote-controlled vehicles ranging from nanometers to huge, including helicopters, four-wheelers, hexagonal cars, cars and trucks. However, I never owned a remote control boat - this idea caught my interest, I like everything about RC, so I decided to give it a try. When it arrived, I was impressed with the quality, size and beauty of the boat - it looked great. The controller is not a fancy thing, but it does a good job. Additional propellers, propeller nuts and wrenches for removing/tightening nuts. On the day I arrived, I took the boat to a large pool for testing, but the thing was really fast, and even a large swimming pool was too small to really open it. This is an impulse and the response is very good. If you have never had a RC boat, then there is a learning curve, but I can adjust it very quickly and quickly complete a few laps. I will bring it to the lake this weekend, I look forward to opening it to see what it can do! So far, I really like this boat and can't find any negative arguments - because its price is great. I will update this article with a video after the weekend!

Great for beginners and medium to fast. I tried this way in the swimming pool and participated in the competition very well. Control requires a little bit of habit and is completely protected. My only complaint is battery life, which still disappears after 10-15 minutes after full charge.

As everyone has mentioned it's a nice little boat and goes quite fast. I didn't flip it at all so I'm not sure about the self righting. My boat took on a lot of water though. I don't think it could all be coming in the top. The water cooling line must be leaking somewhere but I can't see where. Other than that it looks well designed.

Great entry level R/C boat with awesome features. The boat is hard to capsize on smooth, calm water; however, it flips over easily in rough water. The hull seems very durable. The digital transmitter has great range and uses the same frequency spectrum as cordless telephones (much better than the older transmitters that use the standard telescoping metal antenna). Great boat for the price. I didn't time the actual run time, but it seemed longer than the 5-10 min as advertised.

I really love this boat. I'm always looking for fun stuff to do outside with my kids and we have a pond right outback so I thought this was perfect. It's so easy to use and my kids loved it. It comes with everything you need except 4 AA batteries and a screw driver. For the remote you just need to use the screw driver, put the batteries in and you are good to go with it. The boat battery comes with a charger so when you get it you want to charge for about 1 to 2 hours. You take the cover off the boat put the battery in, and you are all set with it too. The boat comes with a wrench and lube too so you can keep it maintenanced properly and it also comes with instructions that are very easy to follow. The remote has an LCD screen and is very easy to control. The boat is very fast and turns very easily.

I bought this toy before I went to the lake house for a week this summer. I would charge the batteries in the evening before and take it out the next day on our boat. It was popular all week with the family. I knew going in that you were going to get more than 10-15 minutes out of a battery so I bought an extra one with the boat. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I got nearly 20 minutes per charge, though I didn't run it full speed the entire time . Being a rookie RC driver, I thought this boat was plenty fast. The one thing that makes this boat worth its cost is how easy it is to right it when it turns over. That is a super cool feature. I ran over weeds and stumps several times with no damage, so I would call it durable as well. If this boat has any flaws, I'd say that it has a tendency to 'submarine' itself if you try to drive it in reverse too fast. Thank goodness for proportional controls.

The boat goes pretty fast in the water (up to 15mph) and is pretty steady causing it to stay upwards when in motion. If the boat does tip over it will place itself upright again using the capsize recovery button. My absolute favorite function is definitely the low battery alarm that goes off giving you enough time to get your boat back to land. The remote is easy to operate with standard forward, backward, left, and right functions. The stand is a nice touch for storage and display when not in use to keep the propeller lifted in the air to avoid damage. The boat won't operate when the propeller is out of water. This is alot of fun whether you are at the lake, pond, or even for use in your swimming pool! My son is almost 12 and found this easy to navigate and control on his own after some practice. The orange color really stand out in the water! I would definitely recommend this remote control boat for beginners as well as more skilled users.

When compared to a similar product from The Source, this seems to be better made and has more features. I particularly like that the boat has reverse. The water sensor ensures small ones do not nick their fingers with the prop. 2.4gHz permits multiple boats to run at the same time. I look forward to many hours of fun in the pool with this boat!
