This is one of the most popular drones in the amateur drone market. Particularly I think if it is a stable drone and quite manageable, but today for that price or a little more money you get drones of better characteristics. However overall I give a good rating for the price that tomtop handles!

For those of you who are considering whether or not to get this quadcopter I will shed some light. You see the good reviews and the bad ones and you're not sure if you should get it. To those of you who experience this I have one thing to say. GET IT! Some reviews say it will not lift off the ground, or a motor burnt out immediately after opening. As it turns out they're right! But as can be intuited, every few quadcopters are defective. But not most. Chances that you'll get a defective one are very slim.

After receiving a brand new X8W. First one had an issue. The seller corrected the issues quickly. As I watch videos about the drones in this class and price. I have to say this is an excellent drone. Some things to watch out for. if a motor stops working. check the motor connection plug. It can come loose if U R crashing. The propellers guards are not worth putting on. They actually work against U, when doing flips. And they break too easily. a big tip, I came across was using common sense. Like anything that is new. It needs a break-in period.

I was a bit skeptical, but this copter assembles, flies and handles great. The real time video is sometimes choppy or intermittent, but that is a minor drawback in my opinion. I was shocked at how high it could fly on the inital flight. At one point, it flew so far and high that the wifi connection between the camera and the phone disconnected. This is something for you to consider when using.

I love the drone. It gives you the ability to learn complicated flight mechanics, and have fun while doing it. Although you should watch a Youtube video or two to learn the main mechanics. Don't listen to the baloney about H-mode and L-mode. Beginners should start with L-mode(low power) and advanced hobbyists can grapple easily with H-mode(high power). I suggest you stock up on some spare blades and blade protectors for the inevitable crashes the first few times.

This is an awesome drone. On my sons birthday I had purchased a drone at a local mall as a gift for him. The guy at the kiosk told me that I could see the camera using my phone (which was a lie). The drone was a piece of trash. I actually paid $167 for that piece of junk. Of course I raised hell and got my money back, even though they had a no refund policy. I then purchased this beauty. It arrived in a couple of days (being I am a Prime shopper :-), and my son loves it. There are several Youtube videos showing how to set it up, fly it, do tricks, and connect the camera. If you are in the market to get a drone, this is the one for beginners on a budget. The camera quality is not the greatest, but its not the worst either. It is relatively easy to fly and you can record directly to your phone.

This syma x8w drone is the first drone i bought. Actually i bought this for the practice before i buy some more expensive and bigger one. But soon i realized that this is big enough and also flies so far and fast. My family enjoyed playing this drone and had so much fun this weekend.
