No, only when the battery connector and electrical connector is the same as the test that was able to connect using the forehead.

Make sure the ground wire of the balance plug is lined up with the indicator on the right side of the device, or it will not power on. The menu structure is a bit complex, so I highly recommend searching out the pdf instructions. Here is the link I found a copy at: https://dymondusa.com/instructions/20179.pdf see less

Not to sure what you mean by a full discharge (100%)? The checker shows voltage on individual cells and percent. Plus it shows total voltage of all cells and charge percent of battery. Works great for me!

Holding down the Cell key more than three seconds opens the secondary menu. There you can set the balance gap and balance packs, set the discharge level and discharge packs and select the IR function and generate a IR number for each cell by cycling through the cells using the mode key. I compared the IR results with the ones returned by one of my chargers and they were similar. Just remember the first number that pops up is for only one cell. I haven't tried the ESC/Servo tester function yet. It looks like you can plug your ESC or a servo into the small port and the battery balance tap into large port and get a series of pulses that will rotate the servo. this is a very nice all-in-one battery checker/balancer. see less

Very nice lipo battery tester. The only thing I really dislike is how loud the beeping is and I haven't found a way to disable it. Looks and feels a lot better than the cheaper testers that only give voltage. Again, the beeping is my only problem with it. I even took it apart but there was no way to disable the speaker without tearing up the board.
