Bought as a portable device to monitor 1 of 2 battery packs on my e-bike. The pack has a cell that's slightly weaker, so I want to be able to keep an eye on it so I don't run it down too far. This monitor does everything I need and some stuff I don't need. There is no printed manual but it does come with a little CD with manual on it I saved to PC as a PDF. Balance function works way better than my fancier 60.00 AC powered charger. Doesn't get hot and balances without another power supply needed. Delivery from China took less than 2 weeks by mail. Eddy at their support department was well versed in English and very supportive of a question I had. No disappointments with this unless you are looking for something higher end. Works great, decent English and good support. It's all there.

Did not want to spend the $$$ for a cycle analyst - connected my battery through this unit to my controller and mounted by handlebars - shows voltage, wattage and accumulated AH used during my ride - makes a great instrument panel & "gas gauge" for my bike! Do not use the cell balancing function so can't speak to it?

Received blue with 2 ended cable, multi board and board cable. I don't use it as designed, but thought I'd let you know it arrived in 4 business days from california which was unclear from listing and estimated ship time (said mid feb- early march) I'm looking for my RC battery to test it on that, but I expect it to function as other similar devices and will update rating if it doesn't. Great price at under $20 delivered. I'm not sure why this is listed as a toy.... how much fun is it? none... it's a tool. The only functional difference between this and the $50 watts up is this has no backlight and having to press the enter button if you are using it like I am as a Volt/Amp meter It does require 7.2v min, consumes 20ma as a display, and handles up to 60V input and up to 6 LiPo LiLo or LiFe cells

I needed an analyzer for 36V LiFePo4 batteries. Since a 12 cell tester costs a bit more, I opted to buy this unit for about $17. I just test 6 cells at a time and it gets the job done. Great value and works well for testing voltages for 3 types of batteries as well as Watts and balances them too. I salvaged one $400 battery by balancing it so the charger would bring the low cells up without shutting off prematurely.
