I just got the watch today. It's attractive and comfortable. Pairing it to my Android phone was easy. I downloaded the app and customized it. What I'm not understanding is how to get the settings right for what I want to do. For example, when I receive a phone call, I want the watch to vibrate and tell me who is calling. Then if I want to answer the call, I want to pick up my phone and answer the call and talk on the phone. Here's what happens instead. When a call comes in, the watch vibrates, and I can see the phone number but not the contact name. Then when I answer the phone, the watch becomes a speakerphone, so I'm talking out loud to my watch, that is now echoing with the phone. Here's another thing. When I get a text message, I'd like to see the message on the watch. In the app, you turn on Notifications, then you turn on individual sources of notifications. So, for example, I turned on Messages. Now, when I get a text message on my phone, nothing happens on the watch. However, I got a DM on Instagram, and that showed up. There's a list of apps, none of which seem to handle text messages, and then there's a setting for "Others". If I turn that on, I get a notification for EVERYTHING. So, the watch seems to be working, and for the price, I'm super happy it will make sure that I can tell that a call is coming in when I have the phone's ringer off. And it's really an attractive watch, so I like wearing it, but this could be so much better with some tweaks in the software.
