does this charger work with the Samsung S7 and Otterbox Defender?

  • I am using a different protector than the Otterbox. I would think the thickness of the back of your Defender or any protective cover is the key. Mine doesn't shut off @100% phone back gets hot, is this one faulty?

Is anyone experiencing fast battery draining on the S6 Edge after using this charger? I got mine a week ago and now I am experiencing fast draining.

  • I use this charger on an S6 (not an Edge) and it works as expected. Frankly it's not easy to understand how a charger would affect discharge rate. (Unless it has caused battery damage. I would recommend you charge the phone using the charger it came with, and see if that improves the situation.

What do you mean by "(Not suitable for S6/S6 edge)-Black"? This makes no sense. Why?

  • I'm not sure why, but I bought one for my brother in law and he hasn't had any issues. I've read reviews where there are problems, but it seems like its a hit or miss. I know he doesn't have a case for his S6.
