What are the inner and outer diameters of the coil itself (not the black backing but the actual wires)?

A

  • Coil: 43mm (1-11/16") OD, 20mm (13/16") ID. Backing: 50mm OD, 5mm ID.

Are the wires insulated?

A

  • Whoops - sorry, I was still half asleep when I answered before, and mixed it up with another product. Yes, the wires are insulated - both the spiral and the ones leading to it from the circuit board. Keep in mind that there are exposed traces in the back of the board, though.
