    The design of the K1 is beautiful, and I wanted a 3D printer with a fast printing speed, so I purchased the K1.

    I really like the overall design improvements that they've made with this particular product. You don't have to take it completely apart like the original unit that came with my Ender 3. Also, this being ceramic it heats up extremely fast and has a much larger heatsink than the original that came with my Ender 3. The flow rate is very smooth and I have not had any print issues in fact I think that the overall print quality is greatly improved. And I like how quickly this heats up. It takes noticeably at least half the time to heat up. Also with the giant heatsink it maintains temperature of a better than the original as well.

    So far, I like this one best out of Creality's various Spider series hotend upgrades. First off, it is closest in size to the original MK8 extruder and actually fits on most models with minimal issues. Additionally, the nozzles on this one follow a standard MK8 design, so you can actually use your existing nozzles (though for high speed/high heat, you will probably want steel ones rather than brass). I also like that the included wiring actually has ferrules on the tips. That said, I wouldn't complain about somewhat longer wires. While they are plenty long for use with an Ender 3, if you are planning on putting this on anything larger, you likely will have to do some splicing. Fortunately, they also include 4 inline crimp/heatshrink splices along with it.

    I'm brand new to 3D printing but this was easy to setup and I got excellent quality prints right out of the box. No bad prints as of yet and I have used several manufacturers PLA. Highly recommended.
