Laser Safety Protection: When the laser is under control, the motor does not move and the laser lights up.     This engraver arrived very well packaged and protected. It arrived in perfect condition. The instructions were clear and concise and easy to follow. It took about 25 minutes to assemble the unit. Setup was very easy and connected quickly to my PC. The software was very easy to use and I was surprised at how fast it was up and printing. The laser prints very fast. The settings are easy to use and the prints are coming out clear and concise. I am really happy with the quality and design of this laser engraver. I recommend it to others.

    Great purchase for the money, still have alot to learn but so far all I can say is wow. I have lasered 60 pieces of wood. All different types and thicknesses for an art piece I am making. And the laser has done a great job. I have not had any issues with its ability to do what I have needed. Its been a great added tool to my shop.

    It's a great gift.I purchased this for my friend since he likes to do arts and crafts. He had never had a laser engraver before, but was still able to set it up and create something within a day so I guess trhat goes to say that this is pretty easy to set up and use since he didnt really complained about anything. Would definitely recommend.

    This is easy to put together and is easy to use, but don't get excited in thinking you can cut thru wood, that is very difficult to do with this but it does engrave very easily.

    Great engraver for the price .I got this about a week ago and I have already done 3 large engravings and it works perfect, now I wish that they made a rotary attachment so I could do cylinder objects.

    ATOMSTACK A5 Pro 5.5W Laser Engraver With 5W laser power, I can easily cut 12mm thick wood and black acrylic, and even directly engrave smooth stainless steel metal and ceramics. It uses an upgraded version of the fixed-focus laser, which can be engraved without focusing, which greatly improves my work efficiency.

    Experienced or Inexperienced with CAD and 3D printers, Lightburn (the software I use) and its community make it easy to learn. I am a "Learn as you go" person and it's been a fun learning experience.

    Unboxed, Plugged in one wire, a USB cable, download the software, and then connected to power. The software found the device immediately. The first attempt went well, I have tinkered with speed, power and sizing because I am a beginner even this is my second engraving machine

    The only problem I have had is finding pictures or files that are compatible to use so I can engrave on things. I have alot to learn, but the engraver is capable of engraving and cutting anything.

    Machine is easy to use and consistent. Laserburn software is almost intuitive. Practice with the software, machine and different materials for perfect results. I mounted mine on an MDF board and burnt coordinates on it for precise placement of material. I just found a new hobby.

    I'm completely new to this but there's plenty of videos out there to teach you tips and tricks. Overall, it was easy to build (took about 30 mins). It engraves great and I've used it on wood and slate so far.
