To tell the long story short, I needed a Webcam simply for Discord, but wanted to get good quality. Considered c922pro, c920 and this particular one, c930e. Saw different videos on the net and finally decided that this one fits me best. c922 is not significantly better than c920 (auto green screen doesn't work good, and 720p is not that noticeable), and 930e has its advantages like wide angle and etc. that c920 doesn't. Auto focus doesn't always work perfect, but I love this camera, it's exactly what I wanted. Came in a box and was easy to plug in. Glad I spend so much time choosing :)

A lot of people have done some quality comparison reviews between the C930e and C920, which really helped me in my selection. I didn't feel that I was going to make a wrong decision in either one, but I did feel that the extra image capture angle would help me. Indeed, it does! Picture quality is great. I turned off the white balance, and it helped me have a more fluid motion capture in lower light. Software download is basic, but it does the job, control-wise. This works great with OBS streaming software and is compatible with both Mac Yosemite OS and Windows 10. Thanks, again, Logitech, for another winner product!!!

I purchased this with intent to use it primarily for work related video conferencing, and I have not been disappointed! The video quality is excellent, the microphones pick up well, and the little bit of noise cancelling they do is decent. I use a headset to avoid feedback so I don't use the built-in microphones much, but when I have used them, they have worked nicely. This camera is nicely heavy, it feels good when setting up, and it holds on well to monitors and flat-panels (laptop). It feels very well designed.

The Logitech C930e 1080P HD Video Webcam is one of the best Webcam's I have ever owned. With its ability to show up to 90 degrees of view in widescreen, I can show a lot of what is going on around me. I run an online show where I need to show my customers what I have for sale and in the past, smaller Webcams or even cheap models just don't deliver the video and picture quality of this camera. If you plan to do live streaming shows or even have a home based business and need to show quality products up close or far away (did I mention the auto-zoom is awesome!) this is the perfect Webcam for you!

I like this camera. I do video calls all day for work, and this camera is good REALLY good. It shows my age! I was so used to being fuzzy with a flawless complexion, now you can see every gray hair and wrinkle. I had to get a light to balance myself out a bit. The camera on its own is fantastic! It hold focus pretty well, and while it’s tough to get it to hold securely, it doesn’t fall off if you don’t mess with it. It’s super wide angle, but it makes for a great framing at normal distance from the camera. I’m happy with it overall. It goes for hours on end without any issues so far (8 weeks or so?) Works well!

Very happy with the NEW LOGITECH CAMERA. You can see from other reviews that the video quality is great. The camera itself is pretty small. A little bigger than a lighter or half a candy bar (for the health-conscious). I LOVE that it has a hot shoe thread on the bottom so I dropped it on a small little tripod and can move it around the desk as needed. I wish the USB cord was longer but I am sure you can add an extension to it. I had some issues with the mic picking up a lot of echo in the beginning but a little tweaking in the windows sound panel and everything is fixed now. All in all, I am SUPER happy with this purchase. Webcams are kind of a pain in the neck to choose and buy so you can safely pick this one and be happy with it.

I do a lot of video streaming in HD. Almost every day, and for hours at a time. Ever since I got this camera I have had so many complements of how great the video looks. It's clear, bright, and crisp. The sound quality is also wonderful, people can hear me, even when I have music playing (though don't play the music too loud, because the sound is really that good). You have to download the software from their website (or in my case the app store on my mac) to use the zoom, autofocus, and adjust the color balance. The software does not have a video recording option. I haven't tried to record any videos yet, but I have heard that it will record them in 720p, which is fine with me. I will update once I have recorded some stuff. I do wish the software for the camera have video recording included, but there's a lot of stuff out there. That is the only downside to this webcam. The still photos I have taken with it are also wonderful. You can just tell that a quality camera is being used.

This is probably the best web CV am for its asking price. The optics are amazing, it's threaded at the bottom to mount onto a tripod or clamp, it has protective rubber at the bottom base & unfolds at two different points allowing users to easily mount it to the top of a monitor. The "head" of the webcam also physically tilts up & down for viewing angle purposes. There's all software you can download for free on the Logitech website that allows even more fine tuning to specific settings such as: brightness, contrast, manual/auto focus, color intensity (saturation) & last, but not least, manual/auto white balance. Oh, did I forget to mention the field of view is RIDICULOUS. You can switch between standard & wide angle without quality degradation.

After reading every possible review I could find I bought this web cam for one specific use. I live in the U.S but my mother a retired piano teacher lives in the U.K, having recently acquired a piano, it seemed logical to see if my mum could be coaxed out of retirement to teach my 4 small kids, we were using my mac book air's built in camera and speakers which worked but it would slow down and be less than stable over a long period of time on Skype. This camera some how has the ability to provide a consistently solid signal during the kids piano lesson. Having a tripod mount was also key to my decision to purchase, as the camera has to be at a particular angle for mum to see what going on. the angle is so wide that she can see the entire key board and the students faces. I really don't understand the many negative review, I have limited computer skills and had it set up and working in less than 5 minutes. I'm going to buy another one and send it to mum, when it arrives I'll Skype her through the set up process, which I'm confident even though she's 80 she'll manage just fine. By the way sound quality is exceptional.

I'm a professional radio broadcaster, and I use this camera along with a C922 to broadcast my radio show online through OBS. Works perfectly, and the internal microphones are sufficient enough to pick up the conversation with my producer during commercial breaks so my stream audience can hear everything clearly.

This is such a great investment for its price! Unfortunately you can’t use it for your desktops native camera which I guess I should’ve realized knowing it’s a WEB cam and not a regular camera. The best quality is amazing in well lit areas but does bc saturated in low lit places so it has trouble picking up light but does well at keep its quality and it doesn’t lag behind! A great choice for business conference calls, personal calls or streaming purposes!

It’s not so simple as plug & play if you’re planning on streaming over multiple platforms. On OBS you need to go through rigorous changes that you’ll spend hours researching on YouTube. You’ll have to download extra software, especially if you use a Mac. But overall it is a fantastic product that will rival others in your end result if you’re willing to put in the time to use it correctly. Just be warned that it’s not out of the box easy.

Great webcam, has great 1080p functionality. Make sure your PC can handle the data rates otherwise can be choppy. Also doesn't seem to work well on google hangouts/youtube live stream applications. There is a software conflict. Didn't blame Logitech for this one but not sure what the issue is. Video just drops or freezes on those sites, even with a high end PC.

I just received my camera today and decided to give it a test run. It was super easy to set up - just plug and play. It is a much clearer picture than the camera on my laptop, and also stays clearer when moving while doing video. I tested both video and audio using zoom and it came out great. I'm very happy.

Picture quality is pretty good, for a webcam. Sound quality is decent as well. Where this unit excels in the fact that it doesn’t eat up cpu. Having the webcam do most of the heavy lifting has made this a very versatile unit when I use it for web streaming on fast i7 laptops and slower i3 systems. Very well worth the money.

I purchased the C930e because the camera in my laptop (HP 15T) stopped working, and an older Logitech web camera did not function well in the lighting conditions that exist in the office in which I conduct video conferences. After reviewing the C930e from several sources, I decided to purchase it and have not been disappointed. The clarity, color, and detail (on Zoom and Skype) is amazing. Qualitatively better than pictures other members of the video conference generate. I'm very happy with it.
