My use case was specifically to add a doc camera to my home office for use in Zoom meetings. I'm an educator and I need to be able to support students remotely. I've only had it out of the box for about 5 minutes, but it seems to be the perfect solution. It was immediately recognized by my Windows 10 OS. I didn't need to mess with the clunky manual or CD that came in the box. It also instantly was recognized as a camera option by Zoom, so now I can toggle to it during office hours and students can see how I work technical problems out on paper.

I received my scanner yesterday. Today I plugged it to find it is super easy to use. The only negative I have found is that the camera light reflects when used for glossy surfaces. An alternate light source would be needed for glossy snap shots. I have literally thousands of photos I want to scan to flash drives that are glossy. I am not sure how I am going to set up an indirect light source. It looks as if I will need to go back to my scanner/printer/ copier. As one who gathers photos for my family tree, this scanner is so light weight that it would be easy to take to a relative's home when allowed to make copies of their old photos.

The scanner is very simple to open the package and install, the height of the placement is reasonable and moderate, the scanning effect of the scanned document placed under the scanner is very clear, the scanning can be adjusted in various states, the appearance is simple and generous, and the materials used are very detailed

Perfect for the use in my classroom. I am provide special education services to students and my students usually need modeling of writing strategies, reading strategies and math problems. One of my colleagues thought I spent $300 dollars on this, a compliment to the seller because it looks so expensive and performs just the same.

I bought this to use in my classroom, and the first one was defective. I contacted the company directly to invoke the warranty and had a reply within a day. They sent a brand new one, no questions asked. I haven't had a lot of opportunity to use the replacement yet, but the little bit that I have used it, it's impressive. This document camera is a great value for the price; it's easy to use, and the customer service is excellent!

As a school librarian, I needed something that would work well for archiving old materials. Also, in this time of COVID, this works excellently as a document camera for still images, and recorded videos. The greatest surprise to me is that this includes a microphone, making it also suitable as a webcam for remote teaching. All in all, while perhaps a little pricey, it serves as a high quality camera with multiple uses. The scanner is quick and easy to setup with its USB cable and foot pedal. The software enables the scanner to take pictures and do archival tasks easily, but the computer recognizes it is a camera regardless so that any video conferencing program you use (Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, etc) will simply recognize it as a webcam and microphone without the need to install any software. The form factor is beautifully designed, in that it folds up nicely for storage and has a small footprint that barely take up any space. Would I recommend this for the average person to purchase, probably not, BUT for the librarian/teacher/archivist, or other professional who needs to digitize a lot of their work, this multi-tasker is THE tool to buy!!

This is an outstanding document camera. I actually returned it and bought the next model up only because the software did not not have the option to scan bound Books. If you need to quickly and reliably scan documents that are not bound. It is extremely portable, easy to set up, if you don’t have a cd drive, the software is available at the Website.
