Can you tell Alexa what color you want the bulb to be.. and have it work?

  • Yes. Alexa can change the colors. My mom has this bulb in her lamp and says "Alexa turn on lamp to green" and it turns green, or red or whatever color she says. … see more Yes. The only thing Alexa cannot control is the light effects. So if you want your bulb flashing like a disco, or loop on a rainbow.... you have to control that from the bulb app. Hope that helps!!! :-) see less

How bright can this bulb be set? Maximum lumens, and/or rough "equivalent" brightness? e.g., is this equiv to a 60 w or 100 w bulb?

  • I would say roughly a 60 watt. That being said it’s hard to get good color out of them.

      Fantastic bulbs! The app is easy to use and easy to program. You can group these bulbs together and they are controllable via your smart home speaker eg Alexa. Great product, great price
