This works surprisingly well for the price and size. The weight listed is correct at 2.9oz, but the power rating is way over optimistic. I think this would pass for a 5W advertised panel and I was able to measure almost 4W delivered to my battery under ideal conditions. As other reviewers stated, the USB port will come off easily when the panel gets hot, so be careful when unplugging! I wanted to re-purpose this panel for use with a different voltage regulator, so I peeled off the USB port ( voiding any warranty) and measure the panel properties directly: Voc 6.6V Isc .82A Vmpp 5.6V , 3.9W This was measured on a cool day with direct sunlight, immediately upon exposing the panel to sunlight. It was also very tolerant of not being pointed directly at the sun. So as long as you don't expect to get the full advertised power and are careful with the USB port, I think you will be happy with this product.

I have this plugged into a large powerbank. Even in January, on a bright cloudy day it delivers a small charge. In summer on overcast days it delivers a good charge. Obviously full sun with the cell aimed directly at the sun will generate the most wattage. I have had this over a year and am very pleased with it.

Wasn't sure if this would be any good when I ordered it, since it's dirt cheap and looks like it, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is very light (2.5oz) and can deliver about 800mA. so it's really a 4 Watt panel, not a 10 Watt as claimed, but I'm going to overlook that because all these manufacturers exaggerate, and this one is actually very good in terms of weight/power. Perfect for ultralight backpacking. I don't think there's anything lighter than this. I've tried them all.

I like the compact design and sturdy materials used it does however require some serious direct sunlight to generate power to charge anything. it did take on a non flat state as it became curved after initial first test but functions all the same if your looking to use this for a hiking pack its not an effective short cut but in a binder sitting in the open works great, shaded wooded areas not so well.

This is great in direct sunlight, it charged my kindle ereader faster than my regular charger, however it will not work in windows. So, great for the beach, hiking camping etc. Not great if your going to be stuck in a car or just want to go green unless you want to also hang out on your porch while you charge your electronics.
