    I am happy with this purchase. The only thing that was annoying is that the black plastic light fitting hung lower than the rope. But after 5mins of fiddling with the cord and string I manage to correct the problem. I bought the 2m rope light which was enough to create a knot but not enough to do the knot shown on the advert. I would buy this product again.

    This light is great, makes a great focal point. I have tied it in a knot so the bulbs are at different heights. My husband was sceptical at first but even he likes it!

    Needed to drill an extra hole or two in the metal plate for the light fitting but easily done. They do cast a bit but only when you're faffing around with them. I got the 100cm - was definitely shorter than that so if you wanted to tie it up exactly like the picture I'd go for a longer length. Regardless of the length I love them and they are always commented on.

    A great looking light fitting, you may need to obtain a long rope so you can construct a decent fishermans knot. it also makes my room look like Captain Jack Sparrows ship (The Black Pearl)!!
