I received this light for free as a package deal when I bought the Lixada Moving Head Gobo. It puts out a good amount of light for it's size but the directions are horrible! I am using it with a DMX controller and using 3 channels to program scenes. You have to keep your eyes on the light chart and watch the numbers closely on the controller to get the color you want displayed. Very difficult(I have little patience) to use with the DMX. But once set up, it's works like a charm. Probably better used as a wash light and setup without using DMX. I have it on my light stand and at times I don't want it on when the other lights are doing their thing. Very light weight. The reason for the 4 star rating is the difficulty in programming with DMX and the horrendous directions. Overall, I'd say it's a good light for the price and if you don't abuse it, it should hold up fairly well. Update: About 3 months ago I ordered 4 more of these lights. I guess I didn't think much of them didn't I? :) I probably won't care too much of them in a couple months when I get 10 more for uplights! No really, don't expect professional quality and results but for a small time dj, they are perfect. It is kind of weird to look at it when it is making certain colors and you see a combination of colored lights. But when you look at the wall it is facing, you say yeah that's the color I was looking for. Again, if you can treat the light with kid gloves, it should last and be a productive member of your lighting system.
