Operating manual:
ID code and LED color corresponding relationship:
1: RED
2: GREEN
3: RED+GREEN
4: BLUE
5: RED+BLUE
6: GREEN+BLUE
7: RED+GREEN+BLUE
Press key 1 time to indicate ID setting, press again to set IC.
Working condition:
LED constant lit up: no DMX or wireless singal.
Red LED flash: transmitting.
Green LED flash: receiveing total 126 channels, it’s searching automaticly.
ID Code- “1-7” groups ID code，press ”KEY” for setting.
Establishing Communication:
Power on.
Communication was established correctly then.

Note:
Indoor use only.
1 year warranty, repairment, free replacement except damaged artificially.
The manufacturer willn’t offer free service in warranty period if any repaired or uncapped had happened
It’s better to return to manufacturer if repairment is must, don’t do any repairment unless qualified electrician.

With the confusion on the wiring, which is the correct way to hook these up? i am having 2 modules that are happily flashing but no dmx happening.

  • I’ve had a few boards go out not sure why just sapped them out.

Instead of soldering can you splice into the dmx cables?

  • You could but would have a larger change of erratic operation since you connection would not be as secure.

Are there Hookup instructions available to view before purchasing? I'm most interested in how to tap power?

A

  • Note that this board needs 5v DC. Many LED lights internally have 12v DC available. So, you would need to use a 12v to 5v circuit. Many are out there for under $1. You could also take the circuit board out from an automotive 5V USB charger. I have seen videos on YouTube that demonstrate inserting this into a LED fixture.

what kind of connection does the antenna has? can I replace it for a heavier duty type that can be subject to public abuse?

  • It has a standard SMA connection on the antenna that goes to a U.FL connection on the circuit board. So you could adapt a different connection off of the U.FL without much issue.
