Questions & Answers
I'm pretty sure that all BMW tow hooks are the same... makes it easier to find one when you're stranded. You are right I don't know for 100% sure but my source is pretty much a foreign car fanatic.

I'm not a 100% sure but VW group makes all models the same, so I think it will fit, Audis, VW and seat because VW owns all of them and normally it is the same.

I am sure it will work. You really should have one. Did toy get a tool pouch, it should be in it.

I bought mine for a BMW 500 series and was told these were universal for all european cars. It was pretty straight-forward for mine as i could easily detect the pre-designed area in bumper which had the round removable caps where it went.

It should be placed under the passengers side headlight...remove bumper cover cap and reveal the tow hook location and screw it in ...simple and universal

I don't know, if it did fit it would stick out too far and look wrong. This one is more expensive but says it will fit. Sorry I can't help you more. https://www.ngpracing.com/newstore/rennline-folding-tow-hooks-audi-b8-a4-s4-a5-s5-rs5.html#/product/9014

No it does not. There is also an Allen set screw to set hook in place to keep still.

It's a $14 hook... don't expect the world. Feels flimsy to me, but it looks good. I'll post some picks when I can. ****E39's***** It will not line up straight if you torque it down.. you will need an assortment of washers with different thicknesses from a hardware store if you want it to look good. (A little bit of thread lock will help keep duchess from stealing it with out a wrench & leverage.)

I have a 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman. I needed an extra hook to secure my kayaks in the back. I love how you can adjust the hook to bend. However, the picture is different than the hook that was sent to me. In order to adjust the hook you need a very small tool (can't think of the name) to loosen the screw. I didn't realize this until I went back and looked at my hook. Sometimes when I am unscrewing it from the car only the hook part comes out :-/ And if you order a specific color prepare for it to chip. Mine arrived with some of the paint chipped. Not worth returning because it still works. I'll just buy spray paint if I feel the need to improve it's appearance.

Fits my car well, not a fan of the red, it's too pink for me so I'm repainting it, I dropped it and dented it, so it's not all that durable and the screw stripped after taking it out of my car a couple times (prob Cuz i forced it too much) but for 17$ including shipping it is not bad even got here early

Cheap and light but expected with the price. I use them strictly as front/rear tie-down points for a pair of 17' sea kayaks on a Mini Cooper (yes, the kayaks are a few feet longer than the car... on either end. It's amusing) They thread in easily though I wish there was an adjustment nut so that I could get them to stay vertical (easier for the ropes) where I want them. Something I can rectify by taking them to a hardware store. A 10-cent nut aside they look good but scratch easy which, again, I expected given the light anodizing and cheap price.
