It's audible and annoying when bike is off, gauge is on and sensors are being removed/replaced. I can't hear it when I am ready to ride, with earplugs and helmet on. And my bike noise drowns it out when motor is running. I have never relied on alarm to indicate low or high pressure, just gauge readout.

The instructions are clear. The accuracy of sensors is good at +/- 2psi (the rear reads two psi high and the front reads two psi low.) The audio alarm can be heard through a full-face helmet over a well muffled engine but it is not very loud. the part I like most is the shiny clear bezel and digital display, which match my other gages pretty well. It took about 15 minutes to mount with the rubber wrapped band clamp. Even though their is no provision to power the display from the bike, the two AAA batteries have lasted 7 weeks now even after being left on all day dozens of times. I think the wheel sensor batteries are good for a about a year. It can be removed from the mount with 1 finger, an comes with a little zippered pouch that fits in your coat pocket. All-in-all I'm tickled with the purchase.
