    In most cases this extension is not necessary which I discovered after the fact. I did keep it. However most applications can use the cord that is part of the tool itself and be of sufficient length. My 4 star rating is because it was unnecessary to the tool it was purchased to use with, but the product information leads one to think it may be necessary. Again,, it is not usually needed, the original tool cord is sufficient..

    I never knew these existed, but if you have a port that is tough to access and you are constantly plugging into, this could help. I am going to use this for my V1 Saavy setup soon, but for now it makes using the Progressive Snapshot easy to access. Quality isn't bad, cable seems well made.

    I bought this extension because I thought I might need the additional length. I didn't need the aditional length but kept it anyway. Since I haven't used it yet I am not qualified to rate it,but it seems be quality made and it easily connects to the original connector when I tested it.
