is this hard wire or plugin

  • No it should just take butt connectors on the ends of your wires. Then just plug them in and things should work great.

Does the switch shut off all the functions on the panel

  • I purchased mine to install in my RV. There is no wiring on this assembly. You can wire it how you like. The switch can be wired to control all or part of as you wish. I might add that it is nicely made.
