Accurate and fast: The stud detector uses an intelligent microprocessor chip with the highest sensitivity to accurately and quickly detect wood, pipes, metal and AC wires hidden in walls.
5-in-1 multi-functional detection: 5 scanning modes including ½ in, 1in and 1½ in scanning modes to locate the center and edges of wood, beams, joists, metal or deeply buried objects; Metal scanning mode: The detection of magnetic metal can be as deep as 3.2 in. (80mm), AC mode: 2in(51mm) deep.
Automatic calibration, easy to use: Turn on the stud finder, lay it flat on the wall, press the scan button, and it's ready for calibration. The smart micro sensor chip flashes and beeps when hidden wood, metal and AC lines are found.
LCD display and audible warning: The signal bar on the LCD display alerts you to the distance and direction of approaching objects and beeps to determine the location. This LCD display is also backlit which can provide clear display even in low light conditions.
Wire warning indication: When you scan in stud scan/depth scan/metal scan mode, the wire warning stays on to alert you to the presence of live AC power, which helps you avoid hazards when installing TVs, bathroom cabinets, picture frames, and garage shelves.
