Have installed one with electronic ignition. Just look up wiring diagram and identify the correct wire. Often you tube will have the info needed

oi it only has setting for 4,6,8 cyc cars i mean you canmake it work with a 3cyc but you would have to mod the tech to work with a 3cyc… see more oi it only has setting for 4,6,8 cyc cars i mean you canmake it work with a 3cyc but you would have to mod the tech to work with a 3cyc but try and hook it up on 4cyc setting and see what it does if not then try getting a hwole cluster from a geo or a chevy then you can use that but you would have to wire and slice wires to make it work but it wont but you can make it work THE END ::)) see less
