I used this ukulele as my guest book at my wedding. I had a VERY small wedding (9 guests), which was fortunate because this is a VERY small ukulele. Yes, that is given in the description, but I was still surprised that it is basically the length of my forearm. Still, it served the exact purpose I needed it to, and it's so adorable. The case is really nice quality, and the uke plays surprisingly well if you can get past the tiny fretboard. This would be the perfect starter instrument for a young child, but probably not anyone over the age of 9 or 10. Super lightweight and easy to travel with, though! Not necessarily fine craftsmanship by any means, but it's a great little instrument for the price!

Bought this for the novelty of the size and perhaps the simplicity of travelling with such a small ukulele. (And, let me honest, because of Ukulele Acquisition Syndrome.) I only started uking in January and I am overall happy with this, especially because of the price range and the novelty of it, but it is what one might expect in a uke this size. The three photos show some craftsmanship issues: 1) a very small but noticeable ding at the corner of the head to the left of the 'I' in Irin, 2) what looks like a little bit of adhesive that wasn't fully wiped off the fret board, and 3) the notch in the head for the nut is oversawn a little bit at the g-string so you can see a little bit of angled flat edge at the tuner side of the nut - I did measure from the nut to the bridge and all strings measure the same distance, so the is a sawmill craftsmanship issue and not an assembly issue. Additionally, the tuner of the A-string kind of grinds as I turn it whereas all the other three are smooth. I tried uploading a short video to compare the sound of this with my standard soprano uke but it is taking way too long to upload. Even though I am a complete newbie to uke-ing I can tell that this is more of a novelty than an instrument that I will pick up regularly to play. It is definitely good to have as an option for traveling, which is ultimately why I bought it in the first place.

I had to low the bridge bone, and up the neck bone. Also I had to sand all the corners of the freets. I think that the bow of the neck is too curve. So even that Now Im satisfy with the sound and the advantage that is half plastic (more resistent to temperature and rough, It was like a project to me.

Cute. My daughter received as a present and in her words she says, "it works". The hardware was loose immediately out of the package. One of the tightening brackets must be defective because it's unable to be tightened on one string. But it works for the purpose...she's not a professional ukelele player..

It's so cute. I had never played the uke before and it was great for a start. The only thing is that I keep having the same problem with out of the chords. It sounds a little odd, but overall it's great. You should know that it is really really small but you probably already know that as it says "mini" lol. I love the fact that it fits in my purse and I can take it everywhere. If you have big hands I wouldn't recommend it because you won't be able to play it.

I'm giving this four stars because it's just so cute! However, this is much more a toy than a instrument. It was impossible for me to get the A string in tune and the gear didn't turn properly. In general, it wouldn't stay in tune. But, it's very small and worked well as a gift for my super young nephew who loves listening to his daddy play the ukulele.
