I had been looking for a way to amp my guitar for open mic events without investing much money. I usually go to accoustic jams. This little unit attaches easily and so far works fine. It is also easy to remove and put in my guitar case. For the money this is a very good unit.

I used this on a 45 year old Aria acoustic. It installs in a few seconds and works with no problem. Sound quality is pretty good considering the price. It tends to lean too much to the treble end for my tastes but that's fixable with your amp controls. This is a good budget choice if you're going to use it for practicing or playing at home.

No idea how they manage to build/sell at this price point but it was fine for what I needed it for, which was a large 80 person room and my acoustic plugged into a small Vox amp. Sometimes there was a little hum, but just adjusting the angle and/or muting the strings for a second was enough to quell it. I've only used it a couple times, but I highly recommend.

The pickup works quite well. It is a sensitive device for sounds like tapping the wood on an acoustic flat top box guitar, this may annoy some. Picks up the high and low strings exceptionally well, sounds great. For an economical pickup, I don't believe anyone interested would be wasting their money purchasing this pickup.

So far (5 mins of use) this is a fantastic bit of kit. Was not expecting it to be such high quality or sound so good. From the picture it looks really plasticky but it’s really well made and solid feeling. Also the sound is nice and rich and not tinny at all. So far so great!
