Handpan drum is an instrument that doesn't require much musical talent to learn, and it can be learned by everyone. It’s constructed by 2 half-shells with hollow inside, the shape of it is like a large convex lens. One side of the top (" Ding ") has a central "note" with eight "sound fields" hammered in the center. The bottom (" Gu ") is a flat surface with a rolling hole in the center that produces a tuned note when struck against the rim.
