Is the oboe sturdy on the stand or does it rock?? I've used a clarinet stand like this before and it moved a lot.

Is this good for clarinet? does it work well? i know it can but does it work well for a clarinet?

  • Yes, we use it for clarinets and flutes. It is secure. It's not a snug fit like a trumpet horn on s trumpet stand, but it does a great job.

      The product is a nice cheap stand for the trumpet. Like I said cheap, the felts come off really easily and looks like it was cheaply glued on however it is a trumpet stand, as long as it holds my trumpet, I really dont care

      Sturdy stand does its job, but it feels really cheap. The legs are metal and fine for holding a clarinet, but I feel like if I accidentally step on this it won't survive. There is no actual hinge or anything, the metal lets are stretched out to stay in place when they are locked. Folded up the legs don't lock either. Doesn't really store well in a typical older case since it's quite thick. If you want to travel with it, it is light. I probably should have spent thr extra few bucks on a nicer one, but I'll keep it.

      I use it for myself at home. Not particularly strong. The base collapsed on me a few times setting the horn down. I was still holding it so damage to the horn. The screw center strips out easy. I still use it but carefully. Not recommended for gigs.

      this item does the job for the price I can't complain I would have preferred something that has pads on thr feet so that it does not scratch the desktop. but it's so light that it doesn't seem to be causing the desktop any harm though it was my initial concern. I would recommend this product unless you have a very expensive flute

      Great stand! I walk a mile to get home every day so something surviving in my backpack and being light weight is extremely important to me and this did both. I use it everyday!
