Questions & Answers
I really cant't say. I did not purchase this this product however I did purchase the Cline Tantrum and that did not come with a power supply. The pedal that I purchased operate on the standard 9 volt power supply. Not quite sure if this answers your question.

It will technically work, but the bass frequency range is so different than guitar you may not get the results you want. Id get an eq designed specifically for bass myself.

I received NO cables with the one I received.

William, Thanks for the interest here. The adapter that comes with the unit is a 120/220V free voltage meaning it will work with your power there. It is the 3 prong US wall end however and you would only need an adapter that goes from US to your wall configuration. Should be readily available almost anywhere.

Great sound, and you can't beat the price. It's a copy of Timmy, minus the internal DIP switch. I like to place it near the front of the pedal chain to be able to enter the tone of the next distortion pedal. For example, I use Pure Sky to reduce the low frequency of admission to Fuzz Face. The four dials have a good adjustment range. A gain of up to 55 dB is achieved. Bass and treble controls are only trimmed. The bass cut is prior to the distortion phase, so turbidity can be controlled with high distortion settings. A large amount of volume can be used to accelerate other pedals or amplifiers. It looks great and the build quality is very good. There is no battery space inside. It must be fed externally. If you still use the battery, do not use an external battery adapter.

I bought it out of curiosity because it is highly recommended in a forum to which I belong. I have tried several OD and distortion pedals, which have different price ranges, are cheap and expensive, but they are not expensive. Ibanez TS mini, Fulldrive 2 Mosfet and MV Shredhead are currently used, and I am very satisfied with these three sounds. I did not include Pure Sky on the board because I plan to use it on my Strat> Pure Sky> Blackstar HT1RH practice platform with a 1x8 custom cabin with a Celestion 815. When I insert it and adjust all controls to 12 sounds, the sound of my guitar is connected directly to the amplifier, but it works better. The notes are clearer and, depending on my string, the strength of the performance and the volume of the guitar, I can make juicy notes, from the cleaning of crystals to the hardness that I really like. I installed the treble bleed on the pedal, and I like to use the volume and tone controls while playing, so the responsiveness and dynamics of this pedal are my highlights. The only thing I did not like was that there was no battery box, but with an adapter that could connect a 9V battery to the adapter. I opened it just to verify the board and I'm not sure of the durability of these components. But, hey, $ 25, I really can't complain. I love this more than the Vintage Joyo OD I had and enjoyed before.

Unlike all the other comments here, this comment is for the Caline Mark 4 pedal ... ... after all, isn't this the item shown on this page? Anyway, the Mark 4 pedal really surprised me: at such a low price, it provides a convincing Mesa amplifier sound. Produces a low-end Mesa Boogie granular sound in a more realistic way than any other pedal / processor. In fact, it sounds more like a nice amplifier simulation than a pedal. All controls are set to maximum and have a small pre / post increase (overspeed pedal and equalizer pedal for pre-boost). After shaping the tone, I was able to get a decent modern metal sound ... and I passed a combined Peavey solid state amplifier. The build quality also seems to be very similar ... Any Boss or Digitech adapter can work well ...

This pedal is great. When I was running on the Vox AC15C1, I couldn't find the distortion or the OD pedal and I couldn't make a good second level of dirt in the bedroom. I use professional custom Epi LP speakers with coil taps, ASAT G&L tribute (type T) and modified Squire Strat with Fender Tex / Mex puppies ... molded treble and bass in Pure Sky, I can hit The sweetest place. Until now, the OD pedal of the monaural knob has not been so flexible. It can be stacked well or stacked separately. I spent $ 150 on a pedal that I never really scored ... For $ 30, you can get a transparent booster or an excellent OD of medium / low gain (in my ear). I use this tone machine to make classic rock, blues, funk and independent sounds. It ships quickly and is very well packed.

The sound is great. It works as a clean boost, crunch boost or stand alone distortion. It is true 3PDT bypass, however it is mostly SMD components and the case feels a bit cheap. Nice blue LED. At less than 30 bucks it is great because you can certainly find some use for it. The Distortion is crunchy and somewhat marshall sounding.

I recieved this pedal as a gift. The pedal sounds good overall, but is has a very treble heavy tone. The presence and tone knob were able to remove some of the harshness, but it does not give chunky tones. This is a great pedal for the price, and has some very usable tones. Pretty hard to fault the Caline Sand Storm for anything given its price and solid build quality. But of the Caline pedals I have tried (Orange Burst, Pure Sky, English Man), this one probably impressed me the least, so I feel a 4-star review is appropriate. It's becoming apparent that certain Chinese brands (notably Donner and Caline) are rehousing and re-branding pedals that were sold as a different Chinese brand. My assumption is that this is done for one of two reasons: (1) To generate false hype over a "new" product, that is actually just leftover stock; (2) To clear out inventory at a discounted price while protecting the brand integrity of some of the more reputable Chinese brands. (For instance, Mooer pedals retailed at $88 for quite awhile, where as the nearly identical Donner pedals are closer to $30). With that in mind, I am about 90% certain that the Sand Storm is actually a rehoused Joyo Deluxe Crunch. The giveaways are the Marshall-flavored tones and the position of "Pre" (presence knob). This pedal actually sounds pretty good, but isn't as appealing at the higher gain Marshall tones as something like the Donner Morpher, and doesn't quite have the low end response to nail the chunkier Plexi tones. Simply put, there are just SO many affordable options covering this type of sound, they can't all be "the best". But the Sand Storm is a solid overdrive/distortion pedal, and given its minuscule resale value, I am likely holding onto it.
