Can someone give examples of 100 and 500ma pedals? can a 100ma pedal be used in that 6th slot for 500ma?

  • 100 MA power draws(pedals) can be used in a 500ma slot, but not the other way around. Best way to figure out the draw of your pedal is to put in a fresh battery and see how long it takes to wear it. Alkaline batteries, the most common we use in pedals, have about a 600mAH life to them. An item drawing 100ma would last around 6 hours estimated, etc. Most current generation pedals don't draw the current of older transistor based units - now days most are using more discreet circuitry that is less current demanding. see less
