This pedal was cheap and has a nice fuzzy distortion to it. Definitely adds punch to your bass lines. My only complaints would be that it's so small it can't run on 9V batteries, but that was easily solved with a Dan Electrode daisy chain. As far as tone goes, there's not a whole lot you you can accomplish, and if you adjust the squeeze too much, you cut out some frequencies.

Pedal sounds really good when used in an effects chain that has a wet dry mix. This pedal does not have a wet dry mix when it is used inline from the instrument to the amp. I also felt like if the squish was turned up too far the pedal would add a little envelop filter. Good bottom end when the pedal is turned on. I like the size, I wish I could turn the fuzz down more, but that's what I use the wet dry mix on my amp for.
