PockRock is a portable guitar multi-effects pedal. 5 effect modules with 15 effect types, 40 drum rhythms, 16 preset patches and 16 user patches. It is not only a sound library, but also allows you to create your own sound library.  With headphone out and AUX in, you can enjoy your playing at night and no need to worry about disturbing others.  Battery-powered mode allows you to take it to everywhere. Everything you need is in PockRock!

What’s the difference in a patch, and a loop? Do I need a separate looper for this?

  • If you have a mixer also you can patch a sound bite in whenever you want. A loop is a continuous running recording of whatever it is your recording so you can take a patch out of a song and loop it in some where else

Can I use reverb and delay simultaneously? And do you think this would work with a saxophone mic signal input?

  • Reverb and Delay are controlled from the same knob. So the effect goes from delay to eventually reverb with settings for Echo, Room and Hall. You might be able to get a small simultaneous effect but not enough to be easily noticeable. The amp hooks to anything with a 1/4" output signal. Do the effects work on left and right channels of the 1/8" in/out?

  • yes on the 1/8" OUT (headphones). The 1/4" OUT is mono (left&right into 1 channel). the 1/8" IN is stereo or mono depending on the source material.

Will it work with an acoustic/electric guitar?

  • I'm pretty sure if you use the clean setting it will should work fine good question I guess I know what I have to do today plug in my acoustic and see what it does but most any of these pedals work just blind with Acoustic electric guitars

Can you play your device with out an amp

  • Absolutely! Headphone jack and aux input, plus a handy clip on the back that I slide on my guitar strap, buy yourself triple a rechargeables and a charger, always carry spare batteries. 100% portable.

      It's not going to replace all your pedals and amps obviously. However, for something small to take with you or quick and easy to practice with, this is an impressive piece of gear.

      This isn't a professional effects pedal but it does have lots of options to play around with. If you use an amp without effects this will give you a bunch to experiment with. In my opinion the sound is a bit small but I have a solid state amp with effects.

      For the price of this little thing i was absolutely amazed at how usefull it is, sound quality isnt great but when you take into account its under 40$ has several decent affects AND 40 drum beats its anazing

      All in one pedal package for a great price. I have other pedals but this thing is way more fun plus it has a headphone jack so you don't even need to carry your heavy amp out for quick practice sessions. I also love the mp3 jack so I can play with backing tracks.
