I just noticed in the pics that it is mounted in the bottom of the soundhole. I've never seen that before. Is that correct?

  • You can mount almost anywhere in the soundhole. I have found that preamp from the factory are usually under the bridge so mount this at the bottom of the soundhole would make sense and the wire would be more out of the way if you don’t drill it for the strap mount.
