    Based on the price I really wasn't expecting much, but this cymbal surprised me. Not sure about the crash sound, but the ride sound is much better than many other higher priced cymbals I've had.

    I bought this out of necessity, and although it doesn't sound quite as "nice" as a thin crash "should" sound. However, this cymbal has a voice that is quite similar to Bonzo's crash within Led Zeppelin acoustic based tracks: "Hey Hey What Can I Do" and "Your Time Is Gonna Come." -- If you like that dark, explosive sound with an eerie, shimmering decay... this cymbal is for you. I'll be sure to keep it around for studio work.
