If you are a MacBook user please read this or you will be scratching your head for a little while when you plug it in. Once you have downloaded device software, plugged it in, and boot up GarageBand, just start playing the device. You don’t have to fool around with the midi settings since the panda mini seems optimized for Mac. At least GarageBand anyways. Just plug and play really. As far as everything else, it’s a pretty good product for the price all in all. That said the keys seem to be pitched down half a step in bite value for some reason. So what should be a C natural is a B, what should be C# or Db, seems to be a C. Also make sure to turn the sensitivity up on your DAW as it seems to need too much force on regular settings However this controller works great and I recommend it for beginners to midi controllers like me.

I have had this piece for almost a year, and it’s great. Everything works like a publicity, it's a great startup or running controller. I have no problem using it in FL and VirtualDJ. Beginners with delays on this device should try to adjust the latency of their program. On a 10-year sound card with the appropriate ASIO4All configuration, I have no delays or failures in FL Studio. When I first got it, the pad needed a lot of force to press down, but when it was used, the rubber would soften. Now they responded wonderfully.
