    So far, these filters have worked well! Each filter is packaged separately. The top is soft woven mesh. The base is hard plastic and has four chambers, each of which contains part of the filtration process.

    So I'm writing this review because these are the best filters ever. I bought a cheaper compatible one. No matter how long I pre rinse, I will get a lot of black carbon deposits and a lot of film and black waste. With these, I don't have to clean the bowl before changing the filter! It's amazing! The water is clean and the bowls and parts are not sticky. It's great.

    If you run without a filter for more than a few days, the water inlet on the pump will be blocked by the sludge accumulated in fur and pet drinking pans. It's disgusting and troublesome to clean, because you have to scrub every piece of the fountain and every gap of the pump. If you often run it without a filter, you must disassemble and clean it every few days. But with the filter, you can keep it running for weeks, and the only maintenance you need is to fill it with water.

    Our kitten likes to drink water from the fountain and doesn't like the water pan with floating objects in it. These filters are ideal for keeping water clean. When the filters are too old, water will not pass through them easily, and the fountain will overflow. To clean them, I just pull out the filter and run it in warm / hot water to clean the debris at the top.

    I just bought these replacement filters and have been working on them day and night. The water is now cleaner and there is no sign of mold / mold. Do your kitten a favor and make sure to use the filter in the fountain.

    There are just filters but they are awesome. Easy to use, install , and replace. Just rinse for a little while and it drops right in. Replace after a few weeks. I will clean it weekly from debris. Would highly recommend and will be buying again.
