Will this glove protect your hand from a knife point or anything sharp and pointed?

  • I would be careful with the sharp point on the end of the knife. The glove is made of a fine chain mail. It definitely protects cutting from the flat blade part. The one I ordered ran on the big size and we measured carefully.

      I clean a lot of fish, and this glove is the cat’s meow, no slipping from the slam of the fish. Are worrying about cutting myself! Nice glove 🧤

      These are actual chain mail gloves. If you spend any less you are getting cloth gloves with metal fibers woven in. Like many others agree; they run absurdly large. I wear men's XL winter gloves, but I'm a Small in these gloves.

      Reversible, so it can be used in the hand. We measured very carefully and my gloves were quite large. The size I will order next time is smaller than the size indicated in the table. It is a strict metal except for the fixed base. It smells strange when I first open it. You know your smell has changed a lot. I soaked it and rinsed the gloves with warm soapy water for about an hour. I changed the water several times and the last smell disappeared. It looks very strong and is a valuable asset to me. I took the diluent, which is a good protection for me. If you can only stop traveling to the hospital once, then the cost you pay will not stop there.

      I really didn't need this but I'm glad I got it. There has been a time or two when I nicked a finger and this could have came in handy. A little pricy but I'm sure it takes time to put these together. I make chili verde and pozole quite often I got this to use when I trim up and cube the roasts I use. I went a size smaller like others had suggested and it fits snug to the point getting the palm of my hand in is a struggle but it feels good when its on. It came with some plastic thing (similar to the things that hold six packs of cans together) with no instructions which I believe is used to fit around your wrist and over your fingers to hold the glove securely on your hand if it fit loosely I'll never use it but it took a second to figure out what it was for.

      glove is of good quality however sizing is way off. Ordered an xs size for my daughter and it is really big. I would order 2-3 sizes smaller than your normal glove size.

      Does the job, and is comfortable. Caution: It seems to run LARGE. I always wear a "Large" size glove. This was ordered as a Large, but it is HUGE! With finger pointed down, there's at least 3/4" extra length, making for a rather floppy glove. May ask the ​seller to exchange, but we'll see.

      Perfect for hand slicing or slicer machine. Noones cutting their hands with these on. Sizea run unusually big though. I ordered large and medium should have ordered small and extra small for a snug fit
