After dead batteries, both say 10% humidity when I know from other units, the real value is ~ 40%. Anyway to reset them?

  • I never even used this product because mine didn’t come with a battery. And it wasn’t a common battery so I never got them

Do the max/min numbers reset every 24 hours or can they give values for a longer period of time, like a couple of weeks?

  • keeps max and min until you clear it !

Is this a max min thermometer? wanting to record the lowest temperature using thermometer. is that what your product does?

  • It does record min and max which you can retrieve with the buttons. It also show real time temp and humidity.

Can this be used outdoors if it is protected from the elements, ie an outside wall or inside screen of my window?

  • I use mine inside. I don't believe that this is designed for outdoor use.

Has anyone used this inside a humidor?

  • I do. It is a little off and not adjustable so I put it in my second humidor where I have an expensive hygrometer and I figured the difference about 5% for mine
