Perfect hammer drill for the price. I needed a hammer drill for drilling into brick: in my kitchen exterior wall, which has brick just on the other side of the dry wall, for putting up quarter circle shelves at the end of my cabinets; and on an exterior brick wall for hanging and securing some copper decorative pieces facing the garden. Did a fantastic job with the supplied masonry bits in both cases, with the drill set to hammer mode of course. I did not use the drill for normal drilling as I have two others. I feel like I easily got my money's worth already, so now just glad to have it around for the next time I need to drill in masonry.

I bought this hammer drill to drill about 50 holes in a solid concrete slab. It knocked them out like a champ! I used the included depth gauge meter which worked wonderfully as well. As a bonus, for under $50 this drill comes with what appears to be a random assortment of bits. What?! Too good to be true? You would think so, but I'm living proof it works and is great. Enjoy your purchase. Good decision!

I don't do construction work, but only home improvements. I couldn't get through some concrete with my previous wireless driller, so I decided to give this hammer a try. It went through concrete as through pancake. One mistake I made, but it was my own, I had initially used a wrong drill bit type, which became incandescent and unusable shortly after. Then, I used a more appropriate one that came with the box and it all went well.

Obviously if you're a contractor you want to spend the money on something that will last a lifetime. But for someone who wants to hang a few shelves with no fuss this is an unbelievable deal. It's literally cheaper than it would cost to rent a hammer drill from Home Depot. It's hammer action is weak compared to what I've used before at work, but it gets the job done just fine if a little slow. No fuss assembly and intuitive use, and the included bits are a nice touch. Seriously the bits alone are half the price of the whole drill if you bought them at the hardware store. Got the job done.

I occasionally did odd jobs around the house that required me to drill into concrete walls or ceilings. I struggled for many years using a normal drill, and now I'm too old for that crap! I couldn't bring myself to spring $$$ for one of the name brand products that I may only use once every year or two. I stopped my project on one of the holes I was attempting (failing miserably) and waited for this drill to arrive. This drill finished off the hole I stopped on with ease, as well as the remaining 5 holes I needed to complete the project my wife had assigned me. The mason bits that came with the drill seem to be on par with a budget named handyman brand. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone who drills an occasional hole in concrete.

Based on the price, I didn't have high expectations of this drill but it was cheaper than renting a Hammer Drill at the big box, so I figured if it survived this project I was breaking even at least. It arrived in a simple box, nothing fancy but did appear to be pretty solidly built. My project was to install an awning which required 10 holes in some old brick.To my surprise the drill performed better than much more expensive drills I have used in the past. And the drill bit chewed through the brick with ease with little to no wear showing after 10 holes! No need for the more expensive bit! This drill may not last for larger more intense projects, but for my use, it was a winner! Very happy with the purchase!

Had to put up 2 Coolaroo Shades on our lanai into concrete. Tried with a regular drill and concrete bit...........drilled for nearly and hour and never got to the right depth. So I ordered this and it went through the concrete like butter. In the time it took me to try to drill one hole for the screws..........I drilled 16. LOVE IT. It is a bit heavy but then again I am a 70 year old women!!!

I got this a week ago due to having block walls and needing to organize garage, hang a sunshade so forth. I was struggling to get by with a battery regular drill. This thing really made holes in concrete so much easier, if a bit slow or bit is wearing just switch to hammer and it zips in. Maybe 40-50 holes plus a wood fence up to. This is for the hammer part though, pop a bit in and no problem, have not tried 1/2in or bigger yet, mostly 1/4in

I needed to build a door for my crawlspace entryway and that required building a frame of 2x4's around the concrete foundation opening. I had to drill holes in the concrete to attach masonry screws. My regular drill was horrible for that job, barely made a dent. This cheap hammer drill made quick work of it. Totally worth it.

Amazing! I used my regular drill to try to install security cameras outside and couldn’t get through the stucco past 1/4” no matter what I did. What good is that? So after research, I learned that I might be hitting a cement slab or some other masonry and needed a hammer drill. Knowing I wouldn’t use it too often after this, I thought this one had good reviews and such a good price. So I ordered it, got it in two days and Bam! Went through effortlessly! I was very impressed! It works as a regular drill too so I’ll get some use out of it anyway.
