I was able to use the signal strength readings to jitter the disc calibration of the meter and improve the HD signal on my Directv service. The low cost of the electric meter is greatly reduced, and the time required to use the electric meter is less, which is more convenient than the service call.

I had to do it myself to repair my old analog antenna-replace the damaged LNB-I need a meter to check if the antenna is pointed correctly, the signal strength is good, and to confirm if the receiver is providing power. . . The meter works with analog SAT and LNB-it is powered by the receiver and is easy to use. . . Unless we move, I may no longer need this item, but even for one-time use, it is worth buying. I think if you are camping or living on a mobile phone and don’t have a satellite TV, this will be useful every day

Due to other reviews, I hesitate to buy this. I have never found a satellite, but I brought an antenna to the camp, so I need it. If you know the general direction of the grains of sand you want, then this tool will help you. I followed the instructions and soon there was a TV.

I moved my high-definition discs to a field 100 feet away from the house in order to stay away from the trees and get a clear sky. I watch the screen back and forth at home, call my wife back and forth, etc. to set it up. . . . . It took a long time, but I got it to work. Last winter, storms and high winds blew the plates away from their positions. I didn't want to experience the same fiasco, so I bought this meter. I connected it and adjusted the system in less than 5 minutes. Love it!
