Missing parts ... Spare parts I got from myself, but the kit still malfunctions. When power is applied, the screen lights up, but no numbers appear. Goes to sleep after 30 seconds without entry. This part of the operation is correct, but there is no digital display. I could spit another $ 12 to see if I'm unlucky ... As a kit, this one is fine. The instructions through QR are really very good in this tool. New enthusiasts will appreciate it.

Very easy to assemble. I'll show the header connector slanted on the board and soldered at that angle. This way, I don't have to bend the pins. However, if you forget, just bend the plug pins one by one. Entertainment kit Fun to use. Power saving shutdown time is good for me.

I like the appearance of this calculator and the fact that it can calculate resistance values based on color codes. This feature will save me a lot of web searches. I also like converting from decimal to hexadecimal. It won't bring much change in actual usage, but I hope it can handle values of more than 7 digits. There should be space on the screen for two lines. I modified my phone with a micro USB connector so I could run it with a phone charger instead of running out of battery when I placed it next to a dozen sockets on the table. This is easy because there is a two-pin power connector on the PCB that is not populated by default. Just add a plug header and plug it in, and no batteries needed! The hardest part was modifying the acrylic box to make room for the socket because it was so fragile, but I managed to do it without much damage. Interesting little project in general. I recommend.
