what is the dimensions of the shank? my tool holder takes up to 5/16" shanks.

  • Mine has a .390 dia shank with a a .020 flat top & bottom so the overall height is still .350 and won't fit your holder.

What is the minimum hole diameter that this bar can fit into?

  • The Bar measures 0.4505 inches (11.45mm) from the tip of the insert to the opposite side of the holder. This would be the minimum sized hole needed to feed the tool without cutting.

      It is/was a little oversized and would not fit into my qc holder. I had to chuck it up and sand it a bit. Now it’s all shiny and silver and don’t match....joking. Overall a great bar I would recommend and purchase again.
