    I tested out the micro USB, which works as advertised, but haven't had a chance to try the Lightning adapter. Quality appears good. The adapter fits well and feels solid. If you have the need, this should fit the bill. Personally, I'm still using my right-angle 6-ft microUSB cable in a 2-USB outlet adapter that works fine for my G3, along with this cable, which I just simply haven't tried the Lightning connector with my girlfriend's iPhone 6 yet. I also have a 30-pin connector for old iPhones in my car, just in case. Could survive with microUSB, Lightning, and 30-pin, all as separate cables, but this adds a little flexibility, in case 2 people in the car need the same style cable at the same time.
