The input/output specification of the tinySA is split over the 4 modes.
Low input mode spec:
Input frequency range from 100KHz to 350MHz.
Input impedance 50 ohm when input attenuation set to 10dB or more.
Selectable manual and automatic input attenuation between 0dB and 31dB in 1dB steps.
Absolute maximum input level without attenuation of +10dBm.
Absolute maximum input power with 30dB attenuation of +20dBm for short period.
Input intercept point of third order modulation products (IIP3) with 0dB attenuation of +15dBm.
1dB point at +2dBm with 0dB attenuation.
Power detector resolution of 0.5dB and linearity versus frequency of +/-1dB.
Absolute power level accuracy after power level calibration of +/-1dB.
Lowest discernible signal using a resolution bandwidth of 30KHz of -102dBm.
Frequency accuracy equal to the selected resolution bandwidth.
Phase noise of -90dB/Hz at 100KHz offset and -115dB/Hz at 1MHz offset.
Spur free dynamic range when using a 30KHz resolution bandwidth of 70dB.
Manually selectable resolution filters of 3, 10, 30, 100, 300, 600KHz. Automatic selection of one of the 57 resolution filters.
On screen resolution of 51, 101, 145 or 290 measurement points.
Scanning speed of over 1000 points/second using largest resolution filters.
Automatic optimization of actual scanning points to ensure coverage of the whole scan range regardless of the chosen resolution bandwidth.
Spur suppression option for assessing if certain signals are internally generated or actually present in the input signal.
High input mode spec:
Input frequency range from 240MHz to 960MHz.
Input impedance is frequency dependent and deviates from 50ohm.
As there is no input bandfilter, strong input signals outside the 240MHz to 960MHz range can cause distortion of the in band signals.
Absolute maximum input level without attenuation of +10dBm.
Input intercept point of third order modulation products (IIP3) of -5dBm.
1dB point at -6dBm with no attenuation.
Power detector resolution of 0.5dB and linearity versus frequency of +/-1dB.
Absolute power level accuracy after power level calibration of +/-1dB.
Lowest discernible signal using a resolution bandwidth of 30KHz of -115dBm.
Frequency accuracy equal to the selected resolution bandwidth.
Spur free dynamic range when using a 30KHz resolution bandwidth of 50dB.
Manually selectable resolution filters of 3, 10, 30, 100, 300, 600KHz. Automatic selection of one of the 57 resolution filters.
Optional 25dB to 40dB frequency dependent input attenuator. The power level error with this attenuator activated increases to +/-10dB.
On screen resolution of 51, 101, 145 or 290 measurement points.
Scanning speed of over 1000 points/second using largest resolution filters.
Automatic optimization of actual scanning points to ensure coverage of the whole scan range regardless of the chosen resolution bandwidth.
Low output mode spec:
Sinus output with harmonics below -40dB of fundamental.
Output frequency range from 100KHz to 350MHz.
Output level selectable in 1dB steps between -76dBm and -6dBm.
Optional AM, narrow FM and wide FM modulation or slow sweep over selectable frequency span.

This is the first such device I have. As an amateur, I am used to the standard analog SWR meter. I can adjust the antenna to get good results. I don't know what I don't know. Wow! It is very helpful to have additional functions and capabilities to analyze antenna efficiency over the entire frequency band. There are many options for the graphical display of signal results. I am studying the Smith chart and like it very much. Information fidelity is higher. In general, I highly recommend this product. The range of functions far exceeds my ability to use it. For the price point, you can't go wrong.

There are many, many NanoVNAs. Old, new, cheap, etc. It's hard to know if you got a counterfeit, a counterfeit, shielded, unshielded, case, no case, sometimes even a battery, etc. This listing eliminates all these worries, which is exactly what it says on the can. It is not the cheapest, nor is it the absolute latest H4 3ghz model, but I don’t need that. Is the shell thin? Yes, try not to discard it. Is it fragile? It depends, if I drop it from the tower, I don't want it to work, but it is very good to use it every day.

In order to take full advantage of this tool, some knowledge about using a 2-port vector network analyzer is required. It is accurate enough for amateurs and ham use. When used with PC software developed by others, the analyzer is really good. Newcomers need to study and use. But there are good resources out there. It is a complicated but affordable tool that all electronics enthusiasts should have.

I ordered this and thought it couldn't do that much or was very accurate for the low price they charge, but I was shocked by its actual effect. I compared it with Bench VNA and the results are so close that I can't believe it. It is perfect for amateur radio field use and around sheds. It does have a small problem, it touches the display, if I squeeze any number in all the menus, the menu will pop up, but this should be a simple solution, just take it out and archive some , Otherwise I may print a new case. Glad I bought it.

In the past few months, I have read some content about these devices and decided that for amateur radio use, if they work as people think, then the small size, built-in battery, etc. will make it ideal for field antenna work choose. As an antenna analyzer used by amateur radios, it can blow most of the antenna analyzers that cost 10 times or more out of the water, and can also be used for other purposes (such as tuning filters, etc.).
