The single end connects to the Hantek unit, and the double end connects to 2 different usb ports. The reason there are 2 is the unit is a 2 channel o'scope ( one connector for each channel ).

One shouldn't expect too much from a USB scope, but this one was beyond the pale in my opinion. It has sat in its box on a shelf in my office ever since the first time I tried it, and I have never used it since. see less

I'm not sure of your question. This is not an OBD scanner but it could be used to analyze the signal from engine sensors (cam position, mass air flow and the like). If this is what your wanting I would suggest a bnc extension cable or longer bnc probe to avoid putting the scope or computer in a perilous position. You would also need to gain access at the sensor connection to attach the probe. I believe the hantek 1008c would meet your needs better but the scope could be used considering you would be limited to only 2 channels. see less

I bought one in July 2014. It was not compatible with Windows 8. I wrote Hantek support many times and they promessed to supply the drivers for Win8 and 10 but never did it. This is just a toy for masochists. For the real thing you need to buy something much better.

There is a package on github that you can find if you search for "6022be python". I don't know the state of development.

Working very well, I am using OpenHantek because Hantek does not make software for GNU/Linux (as far as I know... again, I didn't even check the CD that came with the unit, maybe I should ask them questions. Benefit, at least look at it. It has a 1k 2v square wave with two probes. This unit is powered by USB, but there is an interesting option here. The USB cable is a Y cable: one side is USB b, another On one side is USB A (one) On the other side I ignore the red USB A connector and provide power and data channels through the black connector. Also, I think you can plug the red USB connector into a power supply (USB charger)?) And getting data through the black connector's low-power USB connector is quite elegant in my opinion, although I don't plan to use this option.

This is my first oscilloscope and i love it. I researched a lot before i bought this one and i was fully aware of its limitations. Working great on Windows 10 (As of 02/08/19). Been using it in automotive diagnostics for a few days with no issues. I also purchased an attenuator so i can read signals above the limitations of this scope.
