Video and camera charging interface can be output 5 voltage and input analog video signal of action camera. What's the battery life like when in use?

  • Battery life seemed okay, but I would be more concerned as to whether this thing works. Poor firmware upgrade experience, and after that it didn't work well. I returned two of them.

  • Works just as specified. Just YouTube for modes and they work just as they are instructed. And just a tip... walking or running... you still need to have steady careful hands. Gimbal not as good for up and down motion like that. Other then that I am extremely happy with it!!

Can this handle the weight of a sony rx100m4 or similar point and shoot but relatively heavy cameras?

  • From what I have read, each model (one for GoPro, for iPhones, etc) are calibrated to a weight class for smooth operation. Based on that, I'd have to guess NO. You'd also have a hard time mounting it would be my guess.

Has anyone tried clamping a sony FDR-X3000 action cam to it? Will it work as lens will point sideway? I know feiyu g4-s works with sony

  • I don't know for a fact, but my guess is that it will NOT work. It's pretty finely tuned and balanced for the size, weight, and CG of a GoPro. I'm pretty sure anything else would confuse it and give unpredictable results.

Does this feiyu g3 ultra 3-axis handheld gimbal for gopro hero 3/3+ and 4 (black) have a joystick button like the fy-g4 pro to make cam point up/down?

  • It doesn't and the internal motors malfunction and lose calibration very easily and Feiyu tech's support is awful. I spent $349 on mine and it lasted exactly 2 months. Now it's junk.

  • If the size of the camera similar to GoPro 3 than yes you can. It is a spring loaded mouth what it holds the camera.

Can I control this with a remote or app?

  • The gimbal is only controlled manually using a combination of presses to the on/off button which affect the pitch, tilt, and roll (I think that is correct terminology). Be sure to check out the manufacturer's website for more details.
