Yes, it should work as the dimensions are the same as the GoPro Hero 3 and it uses the same sized charging ports.

I've had mine for over a year and the product isn't the problem largely... The thing that I am not a fan of is the batteries and the charging method. Also, I would not recommend using a cord on this as it tends to make it much more straining on the axis stabilization.

No. The shape of the bandit is round and elongated , this is meant for a camera the size and depth of the GoPro... as the frame is rectangular.

Whew, spending so much money on a chinese brand was a little nerve racking to me, but wow did this make an impression out of the box! What I love: *This thing literally works right out of the box. You put your action cam in (I have a Thieye t5e) push the power button and it stabilizes your camera instantly! * Has great modes. Default is Slighty moves left or right as you turn it, but stays vertically stable. Click the button then it has follow mode for all directions. Double click the button at it locks on target and will not move in any direction no matter how much you move it! (Actually very creepy when you first try it!). Lastly, triple click and the camera turns around and focuses on you for selfie mode. Very accurate every time. * Accessories: Firstly it comes with a great selfie stick. Its light weight and very well built, and super easy to attach to the gimbal. It does come with back up rechargeable batteries that do last a very long time. * Usability. It is very easy to learn, and requires very little time getting use to it. I am using this for a secondary camera angle for a show I am working on, and also use it snowboarding. It has been super easy to use in both aspects. What I don't like: *Well being a snowboarder it makes me nervous it is not weather resistant. I did tape over any open plug ins, and it has been fine through a few trips on the mountains. There's also not a lot of gimbals that are weather resistant so i'm not very upset over this. As long as it keeps ticking! *The battery door. hmmm. You have to turn the little screw for like a minute to have it fall out on the floor and search for a tiny little screw on the ground. It's a little annoying, and with is were more streamlined, but luckily I don't have to change batteries very often. * Does not fit a water resistant case for action cams. There are ways around it, like taking a hair band and securing it to the gimbal, or fork out the dough and buying a water proof gopro5. Either way, there are work arounds. Would I recommend it? The answer is a huge YES! I have a Thieye t5e, and it fits perfect in the Rider-M, and man it is fun to watch the super smooth footage you get from this thing! It's definitly an investment, but this thing feels like it is built to last, and really impresses everyone who sees it gets to use it. 5 stars for sure!

i got my Rider.-M. it's perfect quality. it works as expected. i setup it on my RC Car and my real car, run with it by using my GoPro staff. Now my video is very smooth and pleasant to watch. + got surprise. a stick was in bundling. got additional possibility to take video longer by using gimbal like a charger got smooth video. got a good price $129. all Chinese markets would like to get up to $169. - calibration is big puzzle especially the last action. gimbal doesn't get back camera at exact center. it's not so critical

Purchased a new unit after returning one that was DOA out of the box sold by Duoda Digital. This new one (sold by FotoPal) worked out of the box. Hopefully, it will continue to function as designed. When purchasing; consider this, the unit sold by Duoda Digital came with an additional selfie stick (all be it a cheap one), a nice surprise.

Received the gimbal yesterday and so far it is working as expected. Phone app for the gimbal works nicely too, but latest version does not allow me to do a firmware update anymore. I had to plug the gimbal in to the computer to perform the update. Batteries were pre-charged half way which was nice to allow me to start using the gimbal. I also bought a Hero5 adapter plate with my order thinking that i would need it, but out of the box it already included the plate and bracket for the Hero5. Same with other gimbals while using the Hero5 is that you get the motor noise. My go-pro is on the latest firmware 1.57 and which the mic setting to stereo, you can definitely hear the motor. Setting it to Wind reduced the microphone from picking up the motor noise, but it is faint and still present. Just not as noticeable. I ordered the Rider-M from FotoPal, the box included - tripod attachment - 2 sets of batteries (4 in total) - charger - USB cable for computer and charger - 2 Hero3/4 usb cables for the gimbal one to charge and other to charge and control - grip that is extendable - carry case - Rider-M itself.

This is a beast. I've had this on my helmet while snowboarding, definitely taken some falls, gotten snow on it, and it still works like new. gimbal noise is annoying, but i don't know any electronic gimbal that won't produce gimbal noise on the hero5 black. just something you have to live with.

Fantastic gimbal, works as described. Does have a bit of learning curve if you're new to gimbals. I had the Zhiyun Evolution which had the long handle attached to it but I got this one bc it's newer and it's smaller/more portable. I needed this especially bc I travel quite a bit and this makes it easier to carry. If I need a handle, they provide one for you in-box that you can screw on/off with quarter-inch. They also give you brackets for both Hero 4 and Hero 5, which is awesome. One last favorite about this gimbal is that I can attach it to my other GoPro accessories (selfie pole, tripod, gorilla pod, chest mount, alligator clip mount) to really make it versatile!

I tried Yi gimbal in the past and this Zhiyun blows it away. Zhiyun is probably the best wearable gimbal for go pro/yi and similarly sized action cameras. It is small and lightweight, smaller than the Yi gimbal, can be controlled through bluetooth by app or a separate remote controller. Setting can be easily modified through the app or software in the computer. The zhiyun app is good, has many functionalities and very similar to DJI app. It needs improvement tho, like Im using a zhiyun rider M gimbal and it access my phone's camera, for what reason? Just a minor bit and it doesn't really affect the performance of the gimbal itself. The package comes with selfie stick, charger cables, video cable for go pro, batteries and charger, selfie stick , go pro to 1/4" converter and a carrying bag! Wow thats a total value and Im sold on this!
